Not a sports aficionado, but I can’t help but think there’s some staging/union shenanigans going on. Are these subs getting some money to make the strikers look more competent? How often are ref errors made generally?
It’s a slam dunk that your extra innings prediction wil come to pass, but only if the players replace their divots and set high on the net for lots of spikes.
I have a $5 pick-em pool at work and I think I’m going to play RJ’s picks to see how he does. I’ll call for 43 points total on the MNF game.
The replacement refs get confused in the Sunday night game as they know they’re supposed to call extra penalties on the Saints and the Packers. In the confusion of 52 penalty calls, Drew Brees throws a late interception in the end zone. The confused referees award the Saints a safety when one of the officials tackles the intercepting player. I’m hearing they are close to an agreement with the Referees, hopefully it will be resolved by the end of the day.
The Packers got screwed!
Watching that, the TD call was correct, though an offensive pass interference was missed. If the DB’s foot had been on the ground, it was an interception. Did Seattle get screwed on the previous plays where two obvious defensive pass interference calls were missed? I think, in actuality, the fans are getting screwed.
