Nicaragua, in spite of a dictator-for-life Ortega - is one of the safest of all South/Central American countries due to cultural practices - e.g., never break into someone’s home if someone is there.
The people are warm and friendly in general. Of course, there are places gringos should never go near, but that is true in many nations.
Many Americans have been moving there and/or purchasing property there. The collapse of ‘08 put a big dent in a lot of it, but it’s still happening....and land is still relatively cheap there. If you have a couple hundred grand to put in property, and a couple thou a month income you can live well......
The word I am hearing is New Zealand, and that he owns a jet with extended range necessary to make it there. Admittedly this is through a couple of degrees of separation, but I do have a few friends who know people in Rush’s circle.
I too listen to Rush almost every day and have done so since
1985 when he was first at KFBK in Sacto. If Rush thinks the US
is doomed then before you, me and a considerable number
of others ponder pulling up stakes I would sure like to see
him make the Sunday talk show circuit and give them hell.
He doesn’t like to do that sort of thing but if he truly thinks
we are doomed then he needs to get off his ass and get busy.

How much have we donated? Why is it just Mr. Limbaugh’s job to help get the word out? Isn’t he already doing that three hours a day/five days a week to 30 million listeners? I’ve probably given $200 since I decided that we had to get behind Gov. Romney. That’s a HUGE amount for me and it took a bite out of our budget.

I also wrote a huge history of Yucca Mountain and the nuclear issue. If we uncorked the energy bottle on all fronts, our economy could easily recover. The problem is government is tooooo big and the Fed is printing money to enable the welfare state. We are crippled by Eurosocialism.
