Spanish-language television network Univision plans to air a television special that it said reveals more violence than previously known, as well as the stories of how many more Operation Fast and Furious victims were killed, the network announced in a Friday release.
“The consequences of the controversial ‘Fast and Furious’ undercover operation put in place by the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) in 2009 have been deadlier than what has been made public to date,” the network said. “The exclusive, in-depth investigation by Univision News’ award-winning Investigative Unit — Univision Investiga — has found that the guns that crossed the border as part of Operation Fast and Furious caused dozens of deaths inside Mexico.”
Among other groups of Fast and Furious victim stories Univision says it will tell in the special to air Sunday evening at 7 p.m., is one about how “16 young people attending a party in a residential area of Ciudad Juárez in January of 2010″ were gunned down with weapons the Obama administration gave to drug cartel criminals through Fast and Furious.
“Univision News’ Investigative Unit was also able to identify additional guns that escaped the control of ATF agents and were used in different types of crimes throughout Mexico,” the network added. “Furthermore, some of these guns — none of which were reported by congressional investigators — were put in the hands of drug traffickers in Honduras, Puerto Rico, and Colombia. A person familiar with the recent congressional hearings called Univision’s findings ‘the holy grail’ that Congress had been searching for.”

Is it possible that “Univision” has begun to see the real world and realize that it isn’t conservatives who are killing Hispanics throughout Mexico and the borderlands of Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.
It is partially the actions of the Obama regime, the Attorney General, the ATF, and ICE.
If this news story is an honest piece of journalism, then kudos to Univision for doing its job, reporting the news accurately and objectively.

If Latinos finally begin to understand that their lives meant absolutely NOTHING to this administration except to promote an agenda, we might see a shift and maybe even some real anger. Depends on how they report it.
Please excuse my ignorance on the matter, but is Univision a big deal to Latinos living here? Will it reach a large portion of the population or is it a low rating channel?
From the few news clips and the program that was on when I tuned in, it seems to be a rather high-budget and well done channel. Of course, I have no idea what anyone was saying, I'm basing my opinion on the fact is was in HD and the news sets looked very modern. (and not to mention that the news babes were good looking) :~)

Correct. The problem is that Holder, the DoJ, & ATF put them directly into the hands of criminals. There was nothing “random” about it. If I understand correctly, even when the weapons were purchased at gun shops, it was pre-arranged, to some extent. The shop owners were instructed to sell the guns, under duress.
What they’re trying to establish is that the orders to put guns into the hands of (specifically) criminals/ drug cartels came from Holder/ the DoJ. The sensational violence that was *intended* to come from the operation would be the rationale to tighten gun control.

And should you wonder “Why Univision?” - I believe the answer is that they are not owned by one of the conglomerates that own most all other media in the US. Most of the private-sector media in the US is owned by only six companies.

Sorry, Univision is not “breaking news” here. This has been reported more than once and this has been discussed on Issa’s committee. I believe OUR MSM has not reported this enough and maybe, just maybe, this will open the eyes of the Latino community of how many of their people have been murdered at the hands of the Obama administration F&F. I have a feeling, though they will tie it back to being “Bush’s fault” and that is all they will hear the rest of the report.
Where has our government investigations gotten us, the IG pretty much giving the White Hut and Holder a clean bill of health and throwing some low level subordinates under the bus. We are still waiting on the final straw to drop.
When I see Obama, Holder, Clinton and Napalitano in chains, then I will think we are making headways in solving and bringing to justice the killers of our border patrol agent, Officer Brian Terry.

An ambassador has been captured, tortured and dragged through the streets by terrorists along with his protectors and nobody cares. Gas prices have doubled, bread is up 40%, milk is up 20%, beef is heading up, bacon has close to doubled and nobody cares.

why bother? Nobody is going to care if this airs or not and the hispanic vote will go to Obama by a comfortable majority no matter what. Even if Obama is on secret film disparaging latinos and pulling a Tony Montana on a group of Mexican school children, he’ll still pull 85% of their vote.
With Univision’s history of being quite sympathetic to illegal immigration, here’s what I expect to see come of this.
Yes, they’ll reveal a massive problem with Fast and Furious. Then they’ll describe the program as having started under Bush, and the Obama team putting and end to it.
The emphasis will be on the Hispanic people becoming more politically involved to put an end to things like this.

The preview trailer of the Univision program was very hard-hitting with graphic views of the killing of Mexican citizens.
Congress should replay the whole program at the Fast and Furious hearings so it will be hard for the MSM to hide the truth about the Administration’s total disregard for our laws and the horror perpetrated on our neighbors in Mexico.
