Teenage Lobotomies for Obama
Reaganite Republican ^ | October 2, 2012 | Reaganite Republican

There they go again: scrambling progs are going all-out to salvage what's left of hopenchange, now adrift in a sea of FAIL. And as the presidential race has entered the home-stretch, they're willing to try just about anything.

But if asking brides to donate their wedding gifts -or struggling families to chip-in w/ garage-sale proceeds (why not gold fillings?)- didn't creep you out quite enough, the warped Obama campaign's latest youth-themed ad will make you blow chunks.

Titled Home for the Holidays: Share Why You're Working to Re-elect President Obama, the grating 60-second spot aims to hone technique and bolster the morale of those planning to pester the living ***t out of their poor parents/grandparents by laying Obammunist tripe on them while home visiting from college (+ mooching money and complaining).

To buck up the Obamayouth spirit and re-create that false sense of superiority the whole Obama spiel/cult is built upon, targeted conservative family members are portrayed as 'stubborn',
'set in their ways', or so archaic they're just now learning how to send a text message.

Some go on to say that due to their relentless and convincing political arguments (he's cool!) unenlightened
'lifelong Republican' and 'voted for Bush twice' kin are now considering voting for Barack

While it's difficult to see why any 'lifelong' GOPer would be switching to Obama after bearing witness to four years of such towering incompetence, I'd probably tell these kids whatever they want to hear, too... if that's what it took to buy me some peace and quiet til they head back to indoctrination center school.

Nary a mention in the clip of any actual issues or the president's appalling performance in office, mind you... but 'just keep trying', recalcitrant, unthinking clingers you've suffered the misfortune of sharing way-too-many chromosomes with may still eventually come round to your 'modern' and 'progressive' way of thinking.

I like how the first 20-ish guy says he initially was drawn to Dear Leader because 'he's from my generation'... uh, dude, he's -like- technically old enough to be your grandpa-

BTW, ever seen a white guy who doesn't seem fruitier-than-a-Dole-plantation in an Obama ad...? Me neither:

[clip]

Related quotes regarding the kind of wholesome enthusiasm Dear Leader is generating for his presidency amongst rudderless, impressionable young Americans today:

Lenin: 'Give me just one generation of youth, and  I'll transform the whole world.'

Communist Party Education Workers Congress: We must create out of the younger generation a generation of Communists. We must turn children, who can be shaped like wax, into real, good Communists....

We must remove the children from the crude influence of their families. We must take them over and, to speak frankly, nationalize them.

Engels: 'The opponents must grant us that youth has never before flocked to our colours in such numbers, ... in the end,
one will be found among us who will prove that the sword of enthusiasm is just as good as the sword of genius.'

These efforts are primarily to raise enthusiasm among the base. He does not really need he money. If at the end of the campaign it is calculated by those who make and publish those calculations that Romney raised and spent more money than the kenyan did, it will be misleading. The kenyan has access to public money and will use or is using public money to the extent that he thinks he needs it. It will turn out that there are far more Obama ads everywhere than Romney ads. In the last week we won’t be able to turn on the computer or go to any site without seeing the kenyan. Ditto the TV and the radio. His spots will outnumber Romney’s by an order of magnitude. If somehow the kenyan actually loses the election and the recounts and the Court decision it won’t matter. Romney won’t embarrass him by bringing it up and neither will Congress. The massive misuse of public funds will disappear in a haze as will Gunwalking and the Iranian connection and everything else. The kenyan will retire to his $35mil estate in Hawaii to live the life of an effete country gentleman.

I've got a younger brother like that. Dyed-in-the-wool, flat-out, progressive Commie. He's in his mid-fifties, responsible, hard working, married 40 years, raised five kids, house paid off - yet still buys into the totality of the left-wing agenda. Obot all the way.

Recently, he took my fourteen year old daughter to task for posting an Obama joke on Facebook. Posted his comments right on her wall. I read him the freaking riot act, and he backed right off.

Some people need this crap, VERY much like being in a cult... simplifies their world view, it’s all provided for them and they don’t have to think anymore.

Cults are based on how ‘blissful’ it can be to shut down all that thinking and just JOIN IN, same as Nazis, Jim Jones, whatever.

BUT outsiders are demonized... they’re all BAD and don’t get it, even if it’s a young teen girl.

He needs to find fulfillment some other way, perhaps through personal development, as Obama -like all cult leaders- will only lead us all to utter ruin... same as Hitler, Jim Jones, etc. al.

Oops, let your age slip ;)

Really sorry to hear about your brother; I hope that he will find the right path before it’s too late.

Take care, and keep your prayers coming and fingers crossed..

My brother is as 'developed' as he's ever going to be. Picture a ten ton lump of granite encased in a force field. That's him. He'll never change. He'll have a portrait of Obama hanging on his wall until the day he dies. It wouldn't surprise me if he has a 'death to America' tattoo somewhere on him.

Hey man, I earned all these grey hairs, and I'm proud of 'em! LOL

Thanks, but it's never going to happen. He's a left coast, bay area lefty to the bone, and well beyond the point of redemption. Hillary Clinton will get a clue before he does.

Perhaps you're not so unfortunate as to have liberal family members, as I am. If life puts you in a position where you're sometimes surrounded by people who've been heavily indoctrinated by the left, yet who you're strongly bonded to, then you might not understand the burden some of us bear.

It's a lot easier with people I'm unrelated to. If they're a liberal, I simply put distance between us, or snip the connection altogther. Family's another story.

And you'll have my kids when you KILL ME AND MY WIFE =-- we are the PARENTS... not the GOVERNMENT!!
