I point out the fact that any mention of Savage ALWAYS brings out the Savage haters, and I’m right.

That sure sounds like "bashing" to me.

And even worse, you said:

You Savage haters just can’t help yourself, can you?

The first statement about bringing out the Savage haters, is correct. How can a correct statement be bashing? Maybe the word ALWAYS is questionable?

The second statement is an unanswered question. What is your answer?

Leftists seldom answer legitimate questions. Leftists often, if not ALWAYS, accuse others of what they themselves are doing. Ha ha!

This is a very thoughtful post, QuestingElf. I’m with you a hundred percent on it.

I’m certain he will miss radio. As a radio person, I know radio gets in your heart and won’t leave, even if you leave it. You always long for the airwaves.

I don't have a "blog." I don't own a website.

You are quite correct. For this misstatement, I apologize.

The first statement about bringing out the Savage haters, is correct.

It is also true that any mention of Savage brings out Savage fans, like yourself.

Maybe the word ALWAYS is questionable?

Exactly. You get an "A" for reading comprehension.

The second statement is an unanswered question. What is your answer?

I believe I covered that in another post (no. 21).

And with this post, my involvement with this useless thread is over. The "golfer" is on, and I will gladly listen to all his "stolen" Savage material without all of Savage's viciousness.

It's clear why he chose "Savage" as his pseudonym.

I've heard ... Debs' has the scent of vodka ... sometimes marshmallow; and sometimes whipped cream!

We need him back on the air ASAP. How long is that non-compete clause?

To be fair to Joe Pyne there was a lot of that good ol' overwhelming nastiness in Pyne -- "Go gargle with razor blades!".. but I have never heard Savage or Levin speak of Pyne.

Pyne was a quasi-mentor to teh great Bob Grant. Levin, for one, took Grnat's "get off the phone" phrase and made it his own.

Grant was the one who got me started on talk radio, back when he was at WMCA.

RE: Pyne was a quasi-mentor to the great Bob Grant.

Yes I remember Grant telling how protests against Pyne caused WOR(?) to immediately stop carrying Pyne's national show and Grant had to fill in at the station that very day.

I recall those days though I did not know of Pyne until I saw his TV show. Pyne was a critic of JFK. When JFK was assassinated the liberals -- including JFK friend James "Scotty" Reston of the NY Times -- accused the emerging modern conservative movement of causing Oswald to assassinate Kennedy and of crimes of hate and violence in general.

Pyne was just one of the victims of the liberals' lies.

I suspect he will be back on air before long..he might wait until after the election though. He probably needs a break. I’ve been listening online since 2001 as I prefer to download the podcast from piratebay or listen on one of the sites that hosted his show so I hope that is available again soon!

I heard Savage made an agreement with Cumulus? or some such

Have yet to hear Savage.

I miss his show. He has an unusual voice ... that I like.

Has some of you all heard his new program?

Thank you for the link.

It appears not to be offered by any of our local stations, so maybe the inter-net is the way to listen to Michael Savage.

There was no warning when he quit his other contracts. It was stated by the local affiliate that he showed no consideration of his 8,000,000 listeners. So I am guessing they will not pick SAVAGE up for now.
