In my dream world Great Leader's phone lady might get a little assistance for a land line, if she could prove she has been looking for work. Cell phones are not necessary and workers should not be forced to pay for non-workers to have not necessary material goods, especially those that come with a monthly charge.

On a side note, Great Leader's phone lady doesn't look to have missed many meals lately. I'd say she's being taken care of.

It’s quizzical that the obese are considered “healthy.” When I see Obama’s phone woman, I see an uneducated blubbering mass of illiteracy and a poster-child for the type of people who vote for liberal Democrats.

A land line is of ZERO use to a person who doesn’t have a home to put said land line it. Cell phones ARE cheap not, unless you are insistent on getting the latest and greatest. Virgin mobile, for instance has cheap basic cells for 10-15 buck range that are play as you go. And you don’t need a debit card, you can buy top up cards for a different amount of minutes in a store — public libraries are free, and homeless could set up an account easily and enter their top up card’s number. Simple. I’m sure other companies have similar offers. No one ‘needs’ a camera phone — but just basic access so potential employers can call you and you them.
