Today on Facebook I ran across an Australian wondering why Big Bird came up in a debate. Then a liberal pops up and spits out a talking point.
I guess this is one of the meme's the Obamites have been told to use. After I defended the defunding of PBS she only had one ad hominem attack left.
and don't worry, I don't care about having my name out there in the internet, since they seem to get it wrong anyways.
Sesame Street should be “Revenue Sharing” to fund other PBS programming. Or are they only for Socialism when it’s someone else’ money?
Does anyone know how much PBS earns in merchandising revenue from selling Sesame Street, Dora, and other products? Sesame Street alone must bring in a few million.

They act like we’re throwing Big Bird out on the street. How much does he make a year? How much does the Sesame Street franchise make a day? Give me a break, they don’t need my money to help them get by.
According to Obama, Big Bird should be paying out more in taxes instead of sheltering his private enterprise sales income under a government funded “non-profit”.

Gotta give credit to CNN. In their Big Bird segment today they had the head of CTW saying that Sesame St doesn’t get a Federal subsidy and subsists on donations and licensing revenue. I was amazed that they let her on the air saying that.
I don’t want to sound like a speciest but I don’t believe Big Bird (not his real name) can talk.

Then is Obama planning to increase taxes on Big Bird and Barney! He said the upper 1% should pay, but tax Big Bird even more? That's horrible!
