The Kickstarter web site shows that Dead Patriot Films has reached its funding goal for "Assaulted: Civil Rights Under Fire" This has the potential to become an iconic film about how California is and has historically deprived its citizens of the right to keep and bear arms.
The goal for pledges to start the project was $65,000. That goal was reached nine hours ago. Current pledges stand at $71,140.
Sorry you were assaulted.
Ping on Dead Patriot Film.
Excellent. I am a backer, also.
BTW, our TV series, “A Patriot’s History of the United States” is on Indiegogo trying to raise $ in a similar manner.
I'm hoping that the state of Kalifornia gets to write a stack of checks real soon.
The courts should consider punishing Kalifornia severely since the Legislature has acted as if, just by a lucky coincidence, all the dozens of pages of gun laws in Kalifornia, happen to be consistent with the recent Heller and McDonald decisions. Until it costs the state treasury some money, they aren't going to subject their infringements to the scrutiny which will soon be demanded by the courts.
First I’ve read of it...how’s it coming?
To be released soon?
Here is an email that I received:
Happy New Years to all of our backers!
This week we went down to LA with a hard drive full of 51 interviews and a bunch of cool b-roll to start the post production process. Each of you deserves a pat on the back for getting the production this far, this fast. Without your help we would still be trying to squeeze interviews in around other, non-important, video gigs. Thank you!
Over the next 7-days, we will be working with our editing team to create an updated trailer of the film and to layout the film on the editor. Look for some major updates to the website (www.AssaultedFilm.com) and here on Kickstarter in the coming weeks.
