Perhaps candidate Romney can ask him, "Mr. President, when you stated that the Constitution which you and I must swear to uphold is a document of "negative liberties," which "negatives" on government power were you referring to--the provision which doesn't allow Presidents the power to "redistribute" the People's earnings?"

A debate is not a speech.

You can't script it and read it off a screen, you have to think on your feet. If Obama is using a teleprompter instead of his brain, then I would say someone else is doing the thinking, writing it on the screen in real time, and he's just reading.

If this was a speech, you could say the speaker wrote it, or at least approved it, beforehand.

Let's say you went to a NASCAR race and found out one of the cars in the field had a feature that allowed it to be operated under remote control.
How would you feel about the capabilities of that car's driver?
Would you feel this arrangement was fair to the other drivers?

If TOTUS will be attending, there’s no need for chairman obama to show up. TOTUS can probably do a better job debating President Romney and obama can spend more time job hunting.
