Election Voterís Guides, Conservative Values?

I like to make informed decisions about candidates, but sometimes it is difficult to sift through sound bites, propaganda and media bias. What do the individual candidates really stand for, and what is their record? It is especially difficult finding any local information about judicial races. I spent long hours looking for voter’s guides, with specific information to make informed election decisions. One helpful resource is Citizens for Community Values (CCV), http://www.ccv.org/resources/election-information/ .

Who is CCV? “Citizens for Community Values (CCV) exists to promote Judeo-Christian moral values, and to reduce destructive behaviors contrary to those values, through education, active community partnership, and individual empowerment at the local, state and national levels.”  Read more about Citizens for Community Values (CCV), here: http://www.ccv.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Who-is-CCV-revised-2010.pdf

Another good source for voting family values is the Family Resource Council (FRC), http://www.frcaction.org/ . Here’s a Voter Scorecard from FRC: http://www.frcaction.org/scorecard

Here’s Freedom Works Legislative Score Card - http://congress.freedomworks.org/ and the Faith and Freedom Coalition, http://ffcoalition.com/FFC-Voter-Guides . Click on your state.

I am putting all this out there, in case anyone else wants specific information for current events education, from a conservative perspective on the social issues.

I’m a very busy mom with a medically fragile child, so please don’t shoot the messenger. If anyone can suggest any other helpful, reliable resources for informed voters, please post them here. Thanks!
