““Comeback Kid” moniker”

Just posted the same thought to a comment regarding a Republican pollster saying that a Pew poll that shows Romney ahead is skewed towards R’s by +5.

Don’t know who the pollster is, or how credible, but I’m sick of this back and forth and skewing. I’m ready to vote early and then tune out

Yes that was the Pew poll went from plus 8 dem to plus 5 Rep. I think that is closer to the 2010 +4 Rep turnout model but why are they doing it now? So they can do a poll the week before using the +8 and show him coming back. Only reason I can come up with as I know they don’t care about the truth.

Because they have done the independent numbers and Romney is beating Obama bigger than Obama beat McCain in 2010 with the independents. They have also done the enthusiasm numbers and the Republicans are dominating. They have also gotten a look at the early voting numbers coming in and they know it is not 2008.

They know this election is looking a lot more like 2010 than 2008 which is what they were using up till now in their skewing.

It is all about keeping you polling company as a real player at this point which means getting the last weeks numbers right. They want to stay in business not look like zogby.
