Meanwhile, there is a new article up on Bloomberg attacking Romney tax plan saying it will kill charitable giving... Which is BullWinckle. I would have posted but I am on a cellphone.

I agree, although, it borders on being a bad ad (not even ok). The thing is that this afternoon I saw a very similar looking ad (cut the same way, with debate clips) where Romney was talking about the loss of $4300 in personal income for the middle class. Now that one is a great ad. But this one falls way short. Subtle things are wrong with it, but mainly, in this case, it doesn't replicate the depth and feeling of Romney's arguments in the debate on taxes. Just cutting it down to 30 seconds gives a questionable impression.

The thing about the argument that raising taxes will cut growth and so make cutting the deficit difficult, Romney did it -extremely- well in the debate. But you needed the full 3 minutes or so of his argument to make it work. The ad falls short.
