True story at a Ford dealership
Tom Selkis' (Latham Ford) True story recently at the dealership.....
"I'll try to make this as short and to the point as I can. One of my salesmen here had a woman in his office yesterday wanting to lease a brand new Focus.
As he was reviewing her credit app with her he noticed she was on social security disability. He said to her you don't look like you're disabled. She said "well I'm really not, I could work if I wanted to but I make more now then I did when I was working and got hurt" (non-disabling injury).
She said the gov't sends her $1500.00 a month in 1 check; she gets $700.00 a month on an EBTcard (food stamps), and $800.00 a month for rent. Oh yeah and 250 mins free on her phone. That is just south of $3500.00 a month.When she was working she was taking home about $330.00 per week. Do the math and then ask yourself: "why the hell should she go back to work?"
If you multiply that by millions of people you start to realize the scope of the problem we face as a country.
Once the socialists have 51% of the population in that same scenario we are finished........ *and we are real, real close*. The question is: when do we cross that threshold if we haven't already?
She didn't lease the Focus here because the dealer down the road beat our deal by $10.00 month. *Glad to know she is so frugal with her hard earned money!*
Why is someone on Social Security Disability leasing a Focus? I make $134k/yr, have a mortgage free home and drive a 2001 Corolla. I suppose if I was in a position where frugality was pointless, I’d piss government money away, too.
While I was paying cash for a few things at the store today, the cashier next to mine was having trouble getting a WIC check to go through for a young gal that had a huge ring in her nose, aand about 6 other facial piercings with jeweled adornment..

One thing I’ll remember about the Obama years is feeling stupid for working and paying my bills.
These people just don[’t get it. When other peoples money run out and the thieves politicians work it over; the gigs up. By then she will be a slave for real.
My point in posting that is to pass the word to as many people as possible. So many people in this country are NOT aware of what’s going on. And we are very near the point of no return.
I don’t care why she does that or whatever. What I care about is that when the 50% will be reached we are done with no way back EVER. And we are dangerously close of that deadly number.
So please send that to all your mailing list. It is really urgent we warn as many people as we can.

Well, on the positive side, it’s a win/win proposition for Obama and the democrats.
She becomes a loyal democrat voter, for life.
And, she’ll be spending the money, which is what the democrats say will stimulate the economy.
Those are the wins for the democrats.
Now, on the opposite side, the democrats will never mention that, she’s taking from the productive people who continue laboring for their lifestyles.
Also, the democrats will never mention that, productivity, as far as the lady is concerned, and as far as all of the other freeloaders is concerned, has been taken out of the economic equation, which means that, there will be less production and a smaller economy, and eventually, less in taxes being collected, which means that, in the long run, that lady and the other freeloaders will have to take “pay” cuts, and eventually, they’ll end up on the street begging and loving our of cardboard boxes, with, NO CARS, and very little food, if any.
But you did - I bet because you have HONOR and a CONSCIOUS and if you did mooch like these people do, you'd feel a whole lot worse feeling guilty, than you do feeling stupid.
That's the difference between us and them.

Those who aren’t in that scenario but approve of it push support for socialism way over 51%.
To your point, the Republicans in congress don’t tell of the obvious much, either.

my story is similar, once at my allergist getting "retested," a lady told me she was on full-time disability from her job at the Post Office............she was allergic to......glue!
Other than that allergy, she was a healthy 39 year old that you and I are paying to stay at home, in the mall, going to the park, to the casino, and wherever else she spends her time!
The email is BS. If she is getting that much in SSDI she was making much more than $330.00 per week. Perhaps she had a high paying job at one time but the email does not indicate that.
