First, Christians were banned in Dearbornistan. Now, it’s Jews who are illegal. Why not just declare the place an outpost of Saudi Arabia and be done with the whole business.

“On 9-14-2012, Dearborn Fordson High School principal called the police on me for driving with 2 Israeli flags on my truck.

When the students began their assault he rolled down his window asking them to stop. After they pulled him over the police used the rolled down window as a pretext to accuse him of instigating the altercation.  While being questioned by the police in front of the high school the reader received death threats. The police denied hearing them though the individuals involved were only a few feet away.

“The Dearborn police were one car behind me when this student threw a bottle on my windshield. The police did not stop the student, but instead stopped me for 30 minutes asking me why I would display Israeli flags on my truck.”

This is how hellholes like Malmo get started. When the law becomes a tool for enforcing Muslim prejudices, then equal rights go out the window and police lecture anyone attacked by Muslims on what they did to provoke the attack.

But it’s not just Dearborn. The consensus of our governing elites is that making a movie mocking Mohammed is a crime that deserves to be punished. So why not driving with an Israeli flag as well? Where do we draw the line? Anywhere Muslim violence tells us to.

Close enough. As of the 2010 census, Dearborn is 41.7% Arab, which is a big enough group that, if they stick together, creates effective control of city government. Within a few years, expect them to drive out anybody who doesn't act in accordance with Sharia.

In Michigan, Arab does not always equal Muslim, and normally does not do so. Most Middle Easterners here are Christian - mostly Lebanese or Chaldean.

There's a section of East Dearborn that's largely Muslim. (Fordson HS is part of that) Dearborn itself is still majority white ethnic Catholic (Italian, Irish, Polish) and its city council is still majority white ethnic as well. It's state rep is Armenian and before that Italian.

As far as Sharia Law goes, the sky isn't falling, and it's not in effect. It's a city of under 100,000 people as well.

That's a BS source. Dearborn is at most 40% Arabic, with most estimates being 1/3. Dearborn Middle Easterners are more Muslim than elsewhere in Metro Detroit, but there's still a large Christian Middle Eastern presence in Dearborn. In addition, most Middle Easterners in Michigan are Christian.

Michigan is 1-2% Muslim overall. That includes blacks and the NOI, which are relatively strong in some of the inner cities.

Dearborn, Michigan now has the largest single concentration of Arab Muslims in North America. There are 32,000 Arab Muslims from Lebanon, Yemen and Iraq living in East Dearborn, making up almost 1/3 of the population. In some districts it is common to see store signs and billboards written in Arabic.

In this case, 83% of cities in Michigan have crime rates equal to or lower than Dearborn, or said another way, 17% of cities in Michigan have crime rates higher than Dearborn.

It's not luck. It's knowing the area. The bad part of Dearborn is Fairlane Town Center - aka the ghetto mall on the Detroit border. Much of the crime in Dearborn, like much of the crime in the tri-county border cities (Redford, Warren, Southfield, Eastpointe, Dearborn) is done by Detroiters.

I find it quite interesting that someone that claims South Carolina as a home state is lecturing someone in Eastern Michigan about Dearborn.

You made it sound like I should have been in fear for my life when I was in Dearborn. I'm not defending Dearborn (and certainly not Detroit), but I am defending my state from the boys and girls who cry wolf and say the sky is falling. Dearborn isn't Mayberry, but it isn't Tripoli either.

Dearborn isn't that bad for a Detroit border city (Detroit IS as bad as the hype - but it's not Muslims there either). By Wayne County standards, Dearborn isn't bad at all considering it borders Detroit on two sides and is maybe 2 miles from Inkster (known as Little Saigon for its crime) on another. Certain parts of Westland, Taylor, and Melvindale next door have their issues as well.

From a safety perspective, I'd much rather take my chances with Muslims than I would with Detroiters. Personally, I'd just stay out in the country away from all big cities.
