Last night’s WWF cage match

Millions of voters tuned in last night to watch the second presidential debate. They were treated instead to a Vince McMahon style cage match. The opponents were caged on a stage with the referee for over ninety minutes. As viewers digest what they saw and more information is revealed the parallels are almost uncanny. In the World Wrestling Federation the outcome is decided beforehand by the people in power and agreed to by the media that covers the ”sport”. The differences are minor, the punches thrown were verbal instead of just plain fake and the predetermined loser had not agreed to take the fall.

What Americans hoped to see last night was a reasoned discussion highlighting plans to correct the problems facing the US and the world today. Issues like the economy, unemployment, high food and gas prices and the explosive Middle East. What they saw was an eleven round choreographed wrestling match. Every time Romney made a valid point the referee, Candy Crowley using her girth sat on him. This allowed Obama to circle his opponent and take cheap shots. When Romney would begin to pick himself off the mat and go on the offensive Crowley would ring the bell signaling the end of the round. The only variation was when Crowley got carried away and took her own shot, insisting Obama had mentioned terrorists once during the weeks of blaming a movie trailer. Even the rounds were skewed in Obama’s favor.

Rounds one and two questions about getting a job after college and gas prices played into Romney’s corner. Rounds 3,4,5,6,&7 were Democratic talking points, Details of Romney cuts, Women’s pay equality, Aren’t you Bush, list Obama accomplishments and the Dream act. Round eight on Libya should have gone to Romney if he hadn’t been kneed in the groin. It allowed Obama to avoid answering who actually denied the requests for security. Rounds nine and ten on gun control and outsourcing jobs, was something old something new from the liberal bible of talking points. The final round eleven was to make the Town hall meeting feel like old times with boxer or briefs.

Now that the show is over we discover some interesting facts about this town hall debate. It seems Gallup tasked with finding 80 (Or 82 both numbers quoted) undecided voters could only find undecided former Obama voters. This doesn’t bode well for the Democratic Party. The moderator/referee was not supposed to ask the questions but Candy managed to get eight in at the same time as moderating Obama’s speaking time to only nine percent more than Romney. Candy also seemed to be strangely prepared for Obama’s response to the Libya question.

All in all Vince McMahon would not be proud. During his wrestling productions his actors play to the script and have an undisputed win. In last night’s debate with the deck stacked in his favor Obama could only manage a tie at best. For the liberals last night was redemption for their man. For the conservatives it was conformation of the liberal media bias

The World Wildlife Fund had cage matches? Is this 1998?

For those that don't like the examiner and don't want to give me a penny a hit the rest of the story:

Why not just post your writing here and sh@tcan Examiner?

Would you like some statistics about page-views?

You likely know them already since you're posting here.

So what is that ate-up Examiner blog FOR?

You make it sound like you were surprised. Stacking the deck is the only way for Obama to win a debate. A level playing field is for the serfs not for those that need to rule

No but I guess I am stuck in the 90’s with WWF. I really don’t watch it since my son grew out of it.

Your cartoon says what I took 500 words to say. I like it! (the cartoon not the debate)

Why do I post on the examiner?
I like to write
I like to have others read and maybe comment or criticize to help me improve
I like to actually see my hits counted to know if I’ve hit a nerve
The penny a hit or so doesn’t pay any bills but it makes me feel good
I have learned so much on Free Republic I like to share my better stuff and maybe others can learn from me.
I don’t want to take advantage of Free Republic so I post the entire article.
If I found a better place to post, where I could make more I would.
I have seen you post about my stuff before, what is it you have against Examiner?

Like they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. That image says all you need to know about these 'presidential debates'.

I am never surprised at what the libtard shills will do to help Obummer win in a debate. What surprises me is how gullible libtard followers are to support the muslim POS in the white house as he attempts to destroy our country.

Isn’t it ironic that the liberals who claim to have such wonderful ideas, lie and cheat to sell their ideas to the public? I won’t even get into how much they steal in pursuit of their ideals.
