Three Cheers for the Obamaphone Lady

Call it racist, call it unfair, call it whatever you like: As a political ad, the Tea Party Victory Fund “Obamaphone lady” ad is a masterpiece.

The genius is in combining the simple facts-and-figures stuff (one in seven Americans on food stamps, etc.) with the way-out-of-left-field Obamaphone lady, who, even though she doesn’t seem to know that the phone-subsidy program was launched under the Reagan administration, expresses something true (in gross, cartoon form; i.e., in perfect political-ad form) about the entitlement mentality that anti-Obama (as opposed to pro-Romney) voters abhor intensely. The music is an inspired touch, too.

This ad is airing in Ohio, which suggests to me that the real key phrase here is: “Everybody in Cleveland.” …

I’ll second the Three Cheers call, but she’s no lady.

Just sayin’.

Maybe we should give her a sort of cash reward or a free iPod or something, you know, to thank her for doing such a devastatingly effective job campaigning for Romney.

Nah, she was on the SEIU payroll at the time.

She was just doing her job.

Along the same line..
All the local tv stations were whooping it up about the govt.-provided AUDIO urinal cakes which had been provided to local drinking establishments that were supposed to curtail drunk driving!
It seems that they were being stolen? YUK!
Perhaps they will be returned w/a picture of Obama and target graphics?
Just thinkin’.

Call it racist...why would it be racist? - just a lady being allowed to express her views on TV - the Tea Party even puts out the money to make the ad and buy air time to give her the chance to be heard - very egalitarian and public-spirited if you ask me.......

Every time that screeching harpy is heard voters turn away from The Disaster in droves.

Rush should play it at least once a day.

Perfect.

"but she’s no lady."

Such was exactly my thought as well. A female, yes; a woman, yes; but she's no lady.

This is a lady.
