More on Benghazi

The murder of Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans was part of a larger strategy to drive all western influence out of Libya. An earlier attack on an International Red Cross facility and an RPG attack on the British Ambassador’s vehicle drove the British out of Benghazi. Feeling embolden the extremists felt they could force the Americans to leave. Earlier probing attacks yielded little results but the lack of a response from the Americans sent a clear message: the United States or the Libyan government would not respond to future attacks.

Criticism

Retired Colonel David Hunt properly laid the blame of the death of 4 Americans at Benghazi on Secretary Hillary Clinton and her State Department. He pointed out that it was Hillary Clinton who prohibited the posting of Marines at any diplomatic posts in Libya. The only security allowed were local contracted security guards who weren’t allowed to have loaded weapons. It made sense that they would run when the consulate was under attack; they couldn’t fight back. This tragedy is what happens when your policy is based on political correctness.

The most incompetent security official of all time Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Charlene Lamb believed that the consulate had the right amount of security prior to the attack. She actively opposed any requests for additional security measures despite previous attacks on diplomatic posts. Col. Hunt compared the mission to a cardboard box and the people within the compound didn’t have a chance since the guards weren’t allowed to carry bullets the facility was an easy target. Seems like Ms. Lamb expertise makes her less qualified than a junior mall cop. Americans died because she wanted to be politically correct by maintaining a low profile in Libya.

It will be a travesty if Romney doesn’t quote these very words Monday night. He blew it last time - but has a golden opportunity and needs to tell this story to the American people who don’t know it!!!

Romney doesn’t even need to get into the tall weeds about if King BOZerO and team called it an act of terror, the video, etc... not that those aren’t key points. He needs to hammer how BO, Hellary’s State Dept. and crew were grossly incompetent in failing to provide the requested protection to Ambassador Stevens team. Plus how the boy king shuffled off to Las Vegas like nothing ever happened.
Don’t forget about Egypt either.

Clintoons are nothing but willing dupes of the Bam. None of them can or will protect America --3AM or any other hour.

Wow! Thanks for the great post. A lot of new information and very sickening to think this tragedy could have been prevented if not for political correctness and an inhumane administration.

In the aftermath of every successful revolution the useful idiots and traitors who helped the Revolutionary's seize power are not shown the praise and gratitude they expect and feel is their due, nor are they elevated to the power and position they aspired to and were promised in exchange for their actions and betrayal (or at least not for long.

Instead, they are inevitably double crossed by the forces they aided and then ruthlessly purged and brutally liquidated, usually along with their entire families and close associates.

It's Basic Revolution 101 and it's even written in the handbooks. You would think people who would sell out their friends and countries would get wise, but traitors and sellouts tend to be arrogant, blinded by their ambition and resentment towards those they betray, and strangely naive about how the rules ultimately apply to THEM.

Just ask Hillary Clinton and Ambassador Stevens. Hillary's, "how could they do this to us after all we have done to help them take over Libya", statement's to the press will go down in history as the most naive words in history uttered by a sitting American Sectratry of State.

This from a woman who is possibly the most ruthless cynical, and Machiavellian female politician in American History.

Heck, she is one of the authors of Revolution 101.

Did Hillary or Obama actually expect them to shower us with graditude, treat us like they are our new BFF, and then govern their countries like they were Luxumberg or Sweden?

I mean really, you actively overthrow stable Middle Eastern governments nominally friendly or neutral to the United States and install Islamic Fundamentalists committed to establishing a new Sharia based Islamic Caliphate and what else can you expect except for the worst.

These new leaders have not even made pretense at hiding their plans to use the modern armies equipped with fighter jets, tanks, surface to air missiles, chem and bio weapons, and other sophisticated weapons the Obama Administration has put at their disposal against the infidels, and embark upon a Jihadic revolution based on state sponsored terrorism and the destruction of Israel?

To put things into perspective, George Bush spent 8 years and over a Trillion dollars to put radical Islam dijin back in the bottle.

In Iraq, there never were more than several thousand hard core Al Qaeda fighters armed with basic AK 47's and RPGs and look at the trouble they caused us and what it took to defeat them. Al Qaeda now has the entire Egyptian army and what is left of the Libyan military fully under it's control.

When he was killed, Ambassador Stevens was in the process of shipping Libyan weapons to Syria so Al Qaeda would soon be in control of Syria as well.

The next face off with the forces of Radical Islam are not going to be some assymetric face off in the sand box with a rag tag militia armed with beat up AK-47s.

It's going to be a gloves off, no holds barred conventional war against an enemy equipped with F-16s, M1 tanks, and chemical and biological weapons (including the ones Saddam never had), and other modern western weapons.

And the American people are being snake charmed by the Media obsessed with the three B's- Bain Capitol, Big Bird and Binders.

We are so screwed
