I have seen this for a while, and even though I don't want to make any Hitler comparisons because you then lose the argument (according to "Godwins Law") but I admit I found it fascinating from a "wow, that's quite a coincidence" perspective in the same way the Lincoln and Kennedy assassinations have odd similarities:

Comparison of events

The following chart compares the amazing coincidences in the deaths of Lincoln and Kennedy. Some items that are commonly listed in this comparison have been deleted as incorrect, thanks to reader feedback.

You should have seen the look in my father’s eyes when before the 2008 election I showed him the “Obama Sing for Change” video.

He saw Hitler youth up close near Munich during WWII. He spent the Winter near Munich. Arrived there aboot 3 weeks after Dachau was liberated.

It left an indelible impression on him. He is 87 on the 28th but still pretty sharp.

I am a student of 20th century history, especially WWII, what led to it, and the aftermath.

When I learned in early 2008 that Obama was running on “non-specific” hope and change, my jaw dropped. I would tell anyone that would listen (and I especially hit the R and D booths at the various city “make a buck festivals”) that two other politicians that came to mind that used that tactic was Adolf Hitler and Vladimir Lenin.

It caused me to vote for that worthless McCain. We’re in a heap o’ trouble no matter who wins in November, but If Obama had won, it would be the end of the US as we know it, and in almost the blink of an eye.

I figured out who it was only about 45 seconds into the video.

even though I don't want to make any Hitler comparisons because you then lose the argument

History does repeat itself, and there are people who will perpetrate evil, with the hope that the ignorant masses won't notice.

So, what do you make of the slogan Obama's campaign is using to deceive the masses, just like was used decades ago, that slogan being "Forward".

When comparisons are demanded, we have to make them.

In my opinion, both serve the father-of-lies.

Two records broken in a single day.

...and the other record would be..?

I'm sure I'm not the only one who could be wondering about that.

I figured it out within the first 15 seconds. I knew who Obama was, but I could not get anyone to listen. My Wife and I have discussed the parallels since the election. The “True Believers” and “Low Information” voters are the most dangerous and responsible faction of Obama’s authoritarian rise. No different than before.

If I had a girlfriend right now and if we were going to a Halloween party, I’d make her dress up as a binder.

I do value the opinion of people like your father, who have seen it with their own eyes.

In the same vein, when I hear from people who lived under REAL repressive regimes (Soviets, Chicoms, Eastern Block, etc) and they express how disturbed they are by the “cult of personality” they see with Obama and the parallels it evokes...I listen.
