Posted on 10/21/2012 11:29:30 AM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet
It has been a long and tortuous two weeks since the Republicans first began doing the happy dance and attaboying each other after the first presidential debate.
Their guy, Mitt Romney, had whipped that other guy like he owned him. The polls were indicating that Big Mo was on their side. And in the process of his punishing performance, Romney had confirmed what Republicans had been telling each other for four years: That fella occupying the White House was the nation's first affirmative action president and, by God, that historical disturbance would soon be over.
All that yee-hawing turned into one big whine and cheese party Tuesday night after the knock-down, drag-out debate, because The POTUS, The Commander-in-Chief, The Leader of the Free World, showed up on Long Island and, in no uncertain terms, demonstrated why Chief Executive Officers are a dime a dozen.
During the bruising debate, Obama and Romney went toe-to-toe over jobs, the Chrysler and GM bailouts, the economy, taxes, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, Planned Parenthood, China, immigration, energy, education and gas prices at the pump and domestic oil production. They even discussed gun control and violence in Chicago.
In this week's town hall meeting, the tables were turned.
Unlike the first debate in Denver, where the president was accused of not showing up, this time Romney showed up, but maybe he shouldn't have. The presidential wannabe made three serious errors:
Sticking to the right's meme that the president does more apologizing and appeasing than world-leading, Romney charged that it took two weeks before Obama admitted that the murder of three Americans in the United States Embassy in Benghazi, Libya, was a terrorist attack....

But Ubama belittling the “gun-clutching bible-clingers” is A-OK.

Another liberal clown afraid to wonder off of the DemocRATS’ plantation.
“My God, what a resplendent robe!” he said of The Emperor’s clothes...
With rare exception
Black intellectuals are not
Here is your Race Card. It may be played only when you have no other Cards. It may be played in desperation. It may be played prior to your losing an actual, clean, factual Presidential election as an excuse as two why the American People voted your sorry ass out.
This “dis” thing is just another form of the race card.
Blacks make a cottage industry in trying to piss off and offend whites, but you let us push back, and we’re “disrespecting” them.
It’s another form of them wearing a chip on their collective shoulders.
Many blacks will not LET whites be nice to them, they want to rebel and stir up trouble.
The “dis” thing is another way of getting their way by acting like adolescent crybabies when they are confronted with the truth.
We’ve got to paraphrase that old seagoing adage to “Damn the race card, full speed ahead!”.
Anyone else's gaydar pinging?
That’s why Obama got a huge post second debat bounce... Oh, wait...
RACISM: Because if you call it anything else you might have to debate it.
Whut? Whadduh you mean he’s black.
Hell, without all you colorful people counting cadence, if only to remember to breathe, I’d never notice that.
I’m just as surprised as you that he is.

Where is the Barf alert. I had to scroll down to see who the author was before I stopped reading....:(
Until the Left, can actually see an equal; when their skin is of a different color than their own; then America, a whole; may as well forget it. It is a 'lose/lose' proposition.
Perhaps, in a 'time' - from the not-too-distant- future; the Left will get there (though I believe not); and we will all, be the better for it. If only. . . Only then; apparently; can we challenge our opposition fairly; squarely; without the predictable 'racist blowback'. That which results from a variation of 'affirmatiave action' themed, mind-set.
Message to the guilt-ridden Lefties. . . Apparently; you voted for Obama; not only because you feel guilty; but because you are 'still' guilty; because you are 'still' racist. Leave the 'rest of us' out of it.
NO President is above the politics by which he speaks and reaps. . .if he thinks he is; or his constituency think he is; then this person should never, be President. Not even 'close'. . .
No question; for the Left; Candidate Obama, allowed them 'wide berth' for them to facilitate/expedite their agenda. They had a silencing mechanism' in place for any Opposition.
Playing The Race Card? You know The Chosen One is in trouble.
How does he explain how black skinned people like the governors of Louisiana and North Carolina get elected by white folks ?
Aww somebody’s got his panties in a knot.
Hope he gets them unknotted in time to see his Fearless Leader unceremoniously booted from the WH along with his disrespectful, arrogant, knowitall wife.
“I have seen south bashers here link The Root to bolster their bigotry”
That must be for a change from their usual favorite, The Southern Poverty Law Center.
If Romney DOES NOT approach Zero as “Chauncy Gardener” during the last debate he is a moron.. Just ask the President questions that cannot be answered with platitudes..
OR just propose that the President is using platitudes..
highlight it so people will notice.. all words no action.. all hope and change for tomorrow with literally nothing to back it up..
Another day, another Black racist ranting about how we should be judging people by the color of their skin rather then the content of their character.
Our black president needs no help in belittling himself and America for that matter. This is more proof that liberalism is a mental illness.
The author is an Uncle Tom.
once again i guessed his race before seeing his picture.
Romney should not drive in the sword at the last moment, but should show mercy, and he will win. Treat Obama with a sad look of disappointment, like a kindly old grandfather, rather than act like a prrosecutor going for the kill.
