The Night of the long knives ... without the knives (Londonistan)

The arrest of over 53 people yesterday in the UK is the beginning of the end for the once-great Britain. The leaders of the English Defence League, Tommy Robinson and Kevin Carroll, were among those arrested.

Dozens of police in riot vans swooped on vehicles carrying EDL members on the M1 near Luton, Beds, in what officers called a “pre-event investigation.”

The group had been planning a protest next Saturday in Walthamstow, north-east London. (More here)

Is there no one is the political establishment in the UK who has any decency, integrity or spine?

"Paul Weston Arrested Outside Wormwood Scrubs" British Freedom Party Paul Weston Arrested Outside Wormwood Scrubs

By George Whale, 21:20 Monday

I have just received an urgent telephone call from British Freedom leader Paul Weston who has been arrested outside Wormwood Scrubs Prison.

Speaking from the back of a police van being driven to an unknown destination, Paul hurriedly informed me that he and a friend had travelled to the prison in West London this evening with the aim of visiting Tommy Robinson, or at least assuring themselves of his well-being.

Speaking through a glass panel they had asked officers at the prison to confirm that Tommy was being held there, but they refused to provide this information, citing the ‘Data Protection Act’. Paul and his friend again demanded to know where Tommy was being held, and at that point both were charged with breach of the peace, arrested and bundled into the police van.

Our conversation was cut off with Paul loudly remonstrating to an unidentified individual, “take your hands off me!”

We will update you on the situation as it unfolds. *Update: We have since learned that Tommy Robinson is being held in Wandsworth prison

Illegal to offend Islam?

Will they even have trials?

The British elites do not want to offend the Muslim extremists. I’m guessing the elites realize that if it comes down to conflict, they will be targeted for assassination by the jihadis.

This is unbelievably stupid behavior on the part of the UK authorities. They want riots??? They’re sure acting like it! This is just the way to push ordinary people over the edge — by seeing how other seemingly ordinary people (the EDL) are being mistreated. Good luck, UK. Think you’re gonna need it.

For a western country to do this is pretty appalling. This amounts to little more than “political arrests” of a minority political party.

If the government loses power after this to a pro-English political party, it should not just result in the people responsible for this being fired, but being arrested themselves.

They have made speaking one’s mind illegal, and now will push dissent underground, where it will simmer and explode in their stupid faces.

Maybe the British lads will yet prove to have a spine. It will be interesting to see how this develops.

I will laugh when these foolish politicians are swinging from lampposts should it come to such.
They were not able to stop the IRA, who stopped of their own accord, now
they are sowing the seeds of a new movement that will most certainly not go away.

We live in dangerous and foolish times. The greatest fools, once again and as always are the politicians.

Glad I don’t live in the UK, so while I don’t have a dog in this fight, I’m rooting for ‘Ol Blighty.

We live in dangerous and foolish times. The greatest fools, once again and as always are the politicians.

The politicians are not fools they are quite evil, truly evil. They are purposely guiding their country to final destruction. They will bring death and misery to millions of Britains.

If Britain has any hope of survival many, many politicians truly need to be as you say, swinging from lampposts.

War is being waged on the British people by their government -- a war to destroy their very way of life. The politicians rightfully should bear the direct and brutal blow back that will assuredly be brought down upon them.

Some of the most evil humans on Earth are those in Public Service

Governments are without a doubt the most destructive and evil of all institutions created by man.

British Freedom Party leader Paul Weston arrested for asking why compatriots were arrested and where they are being held. Freedom just died in Britain. Will amnesty international guyfawkes fans, and ersatz civil libertarians care? Or will they celebrate this oppression?

All that’s left when freedom fails
Good men rot in filthy jails
And those who cried “Appease, Appease!”
Are hanged by those they tried to please.

Ever read a short story entitled The Veteran by Ex-Reuters war correspondent and novelist Freddy Forsythe? It can be found as the title story in his collection of such accountings in his book of the same name.

The arrest of Weston and his release have been ignored by the collaborationist press. They have been absolutely gloating about the arrest of Tommy Robinson and Kevin Carroll.
