It will come out that there were phone calls, radios, emergency lines, sat uplinks, you name it. The comm guys LIVE for those moments, all of their comm plans come down to “what if TSHTF and we need help.” They plan to be jammed, power cut off, etc, with secure and robust comes in the “safe room.”
