In fields like music, entertainment and athletics, black Americans admire and appreciate excellence. Michael Jordan, Marvin Gaye, Sidney Poitier, etc. etc.
Obama is a two-bit doofus loser. They really have no time or patience for a loser.
Bear in mind, the preachers were staunchly pro-life, but also a little concerned about the Mormon religion, although they both said they like Romney and his devotion to God.
By the time they left, my devoutly Catholic husband had persuaded both that our Lord and Savior would always be on the side of life, and that the Marxist's actual voting record proved he supported and still supports late term abortions, aka infanticide.
FWIW, they said they were not walking the neighborhood in support of the Marxist. They said they were asking folks to pray before voting; that the country is in big trouble.
My point is, that these black preachers are likely representative of others. They're not for the Marxist this time around: gay marriage is a big deal.

May be anecdotal but also quite significant.
I presume these good men were visiting voters in a predominantly AA neighborhood. If that’s correct, and happening around the country, it would help explain the recent OH survey that shows Mitt attracting 20+% of the AA vote.
Moreover, these preachers are correct. We are in trouble. I think most folks realize that and will vote for the future of their country...and not a media inflated, self important, know nothing cult figure.
Time will tell.
My street is almost all white, but the next street over is almost all black. They were covering the entire neighborhood, so yes, I thought it significant. They were dressed in their Sunday finest.
I bet Obama loses at least 20% of the AA vote he had last time. Many may not vote for Romney, but they won’t be voting for Obummer either. Too many smart, hard-working AAs that know Obama is a loser and probably not a very good representative for their skin color either.
We live in a 30 home, gated community outside of Columbus oh. Rules are no signs of any type in yards they must be in windows. So there are quite a few RR in windows. Last week, the only black family in our community put up a good sized Romney sign right smack in the middle of their yard. The assoc president asked them to remove it and place in their window, THEY REFUSED, TOLD HIM TO GET A COURT ORDER!!!!
Any chance you could ask them if they voted for Obama last time?
All that tag does is separate/prevent them from being an American!
Until they embrace being an American, the best they can hope for is to become a benign parasite.
I have thought about that, they are pretty private people. The lady(god love her) has disfiguring facial burns, never joins in any neighborhood things, so I would be uncomfortable asking.
BUT another couple who voted for Obama in 08..... We were talking last night and she said, “we’ll we sure aren’t making the same mistake again.”

If Romney gets 22% that would be over 2% in the national numbers. It would make this a landslide getting into Reagan in ‘80 territory, given other trends.
Obama’s embrace of state-sanctioned sodomy is the straw that broke the camel’s back.
And some “conservatives,” so-called, say that social issues aren’t important.
