He's trying to come off as so in charge. The fool can't find his way to a microphone to explain why four Americans died under his watch, yet for Sandy, he's saying, "No red tape. Whatever the states need, just let us know, blah, blah, blah..."
Too bad he didn't show this kind of leadership back on 9/11. He cut into Chris Wallace's show too, jerk.
5:06pm (ET) White House: Pres. Obama Visits FEMA - Hurricane Sandy Preparedness
That wasn’t leadership. That was a campaign photo op. And that is ALL it was.
Yes, and just as Juan was about to offer another inane excuse for O’s inaction, cowardice, and utter lack of integrity and competence. Coincidence?
Another self-important narcissist who wound up getting forced from office for ethical "lapses."
But ! ! ! i thought the oceans would recede under his tenure. He was the one that we were waiting for ! !
what a yerk! the endless barrage of political ads is bad enough. now he realizes he has a job.
Media rule: STORM ORGIES are for when...
1. There is NO news
2. The REAL new is stuff you reallllllly don’t want to report
In case you didn’t make it to the MEAT of the article:
... General Ham as head of Africom received the same e-mails the White House received requesting help/support as the attack was taking place. General Ham immediately had a rapid response unit ready and communicated to the Pentagon that he had a unit ready.
General Ham then received the order to stand down. His response was to screw it, he was going to help anyhow. Within 30 seconds to a minute after making the move to respond, his second in command apprehended General Ham and told him that he was now relieved of his command.
The story continues that now General Rodiguez would take General Ham’s place as the head of Africom.
There he sat in all his glory at the FEMA headquarters telling everyone what to do to prepare for the big storm. I couldn’t decide whether to laugh or throw up. Its unbelievable.
It is not even a hurricane anymore, correct?
