Geraldo just on with retired Gen. Jack Keane who is a retired four-star general and former Vice Chief of Staff of the army.

He was asked if there was anything the military could have done. Short answer: No!

No? What if the First family was trapped there? Would that still be the same outcome?

I have no doubt that the military folks are the ones that still have some integrity regardless of their position. It has been increasingly apparent that few have the honesty and integrity to spread truth but the military is one of our only options. Don’t expect any of the political leadership to do the same!

Soooooooo

These CIA guys are so stupid that they don’t realize there isn’t anyone even within hours, that could help them?

So, they ask for help, when there is no available help?

Bull crap....

I find it really difficult to listen to Geraldo since he has spent so much time with the military protecting him when he has been embedded. He selects only those liberal military folks that support his view without other sources. Actually, most of these I would classify as dishonest or spouting their positions for their advancement.

I really wish that he would give more opposite opinions during his broadcasts but since he is of a Liberal bent, I doubt that he even thinks about that. I do not expect and have not been disappointed in his biased reports.

My guess it's going to be directly or indirectly related to the Army General and/or the Navy Admiral who were both SUDDENLY relieved of command this week — leadership was cited as the reason.

They may have been involved with the Benghazi situation, perhaps more than the Commander-in-Chief desired.

If so, I hope those two Flag Officers will honor their country more than the National Security Council staff and State Department folks who are keeping silent through all this less-than-honorable behavior by our leaders Obama, Clinton and Panetta.

The survivors of Benghazi better hide. What they know and will report is going to destroy careers and lead to criminal prosecution and possibly the impeachment of the president.

There are tapes, emails and all other forms of paper trail. What that trail exactly is, is unclear. But what is becoming more and more obvious is that it is covering up something terrible, corrupt and or incompetent. Fortunately, it is just a question of time before it all gets spelled out.

Wasn’t there a report that they were “painting” the target where the mortars were firing from, and asking for help. Doesn’t that mean an AC-130 Gunship was somewhere in the area?

There was a story from six months ago in the business news...which never got picked by any national news group. The story? The Libyan government, under the Colonel and his family, had plowed a bunch of cash into a Wall Street investment bank (I think it was Goldman Sachs)...and the 2008 hit basically wiped out near a billion dollars of their money. They were extremely upset, and demanded that a team from the US bank come out to Libya.

So the two investment counselors got on a private jet and flew to meet the Colonel’s family. The first hour went fairly negative, and there were some various hints that the two might not walk out of Libya alive. I would imagine the two investment geeks were way out of their league on this event.

However, the Bank had this ‘insurance’ package that went through a British organization, that had various people throughout every single country in the middle east. They had the right people, with the right ‘tools’...to grab a threaten person, and within minutes...get them to safety, and on a plane within an hour or two. The two bank representatives dialed the number...walked out the back door, and went into safe-mode until the British rep arrived and handled the rest of the event.

In this case....the ambassador should have had his charge card...called the British security team in Libya, and asked them to get him to safety...rather than counting on some US government guys who may or may not care one way or another about the safety of the ambassador. It might have cost $750k for such a rescue...but obviously, you weren’t going to get help from the Americans.

Just my two cents on the topic.

Did you see Geraldo hanging all over Tyrone’s dad and then kiss him? The man looked totally shocked.

Geraldo was so glad that the dad said even if Obama is guilty he will forgive him.

It was a repulsive moment.

What Keane said was nauseating. He stated that we allow soldiers to die in Afghanistan by denying them air support because of the chance of collateral damage. He implied that Benghazi was analagous. WTF ever happened to NO MAN GETS LEFT BEHIND?

After Pat Caddell’s rant this weekend...it’s time to do it again Monday Brett!

This will blow wide open; like the Starship Enterprise firing phasers on a old rusty Yugo.

Too many good military people were put to extreme points of anger not being allowed to do their jobs and save people.

It will come out.

Great point. If support is dozens of hours away as the general implied, then laser pointing would make no sense.

The idea that we have people in Libya and leave them with some pistols is at least pathetically stupid at the very least.

Seriously. How how hard is it to drop a smart bomb from an attack plane capable a speed of sound type speed?

I’m no military guy. But I’d thinking some base could deliver a plane from Italy to Libya inside of 20 minutes? Someone help me out here.

You bet there are military people unhappy with Obama and Panetta’s jihadi, treasonous, rules of engagement and Muslim Brotherhood infiltration.

But also, consider how this would sit with the State Department’s foreign service people and CIA agents and those people in Washington loyal to protecting their lives.

This was a big betrayal of three big agencies (CIA, DOD, and State Department). Suddenly they all look quite expendable to the anti-American jihadist in the White Hut and his insane politically correct agency leaders.

This has to stop and Lord only knows what Obama’s idiots have set up of jihad in our country over the past three years while he diverts homeland security to go after the Muslims’ American political and social enemies and vets.

If Romney comes in, he’s going to have to work quick or he’ll be left holding the bomb like Bush. The Clintons and Panetta ran betrayal scam with when they had power.

I don’t discount the Chelsea Factor at all. Not that she’s the leaker but that she is a factor in Bill and Hillarys decsions as to what they hold and what they leak or release. I have no doubt that they see her carrying on their political legacy, and going down in disgrace is not what any parent want to leave their kid.

Gen. Jack Keane, like Geraldo, is full of crap when he said they wouldn't be able to identify good guys from bad guys.
Woods and the other guy were painting them with a targeting laser from the top of a building.
My guess is there was an armed Predator drone above, those guys knew it was there, but it wasn't allowed to fire.

Yes, he is doing everything he can to support this administration without regard to the truth. He can spout all he wishes but he should at least question what is coming out of this administrations spokesman - don’t you think?

They have been lying through their teeth (easily determined - but of course you would say being political) and you wish to support Geraldo supporting them?

I don’t mind lefty’s supporting Obama as long as they are truthful and don’t just spout the propaganda. There are many on the left who can’t abide with the outright lying and obfuscation by this White House crew.

I do believe there are plenty of career civil servants in the various national security agencies that don’t like The Regime. The Obamunist can’t keep them down, and DC is leaking like a seive.

Meanwhile, Fox is the only ones to take advantage. Others may follow post-election, but for now, Fox needs to keep doing what they are doing (saving America) and beware of plants and set-ups.

This was my original thought on the WH strategy. However, I heard that we suffered huge intelligence damage, and lost huge amounts of intelligence info.

I’m wondering why the WH didn’t do something to damage the consulate enough to destroy all information. We already know the WH doesn’t value our human life, but does value our enemies’ lives.... but what about protecting our intelligence?
