Barack the Benevolent cancels campaign events out of concern for the nation

If it’s true that hysteria reveals itself in out of character behavior, Barack Obama must be the most panicked man in the US. For not only has Barack cancelled campaign trips to Colorado and Virginia, he even flew to Florida for a scheduled event in Orlando only to turn around and fly back to Washington, DC before it took place! That Barack would pass on opportunities designed to secure another 4 years of dictatorial power is more than unusual behavior, it’s downright scary!

After all, Obama did a CBS interview and promptly flew off to a campaign fundraiser in Las Vegas just hours after 4 Americans had been killed in Benghazi! (1) So it’s obvious that neither human compassion nor attending to the duties of his office rate high enough on His Majesty’s “to do” list to miss an opportunity to collect votes or money.

But Barack has decided to forego needed campaign appearances just one week before the election all for the expressed purpose...

LOL. Obama knows he is dead meat. He just doesn’t have the enthusiasm and desire to continue going out pleading for votes. It is beneath him. No doubt he is seriously depressed.

The more likely scenario is that Valerie Jarrett called him in Orlando and said, “ You better get your ass back here boy, People are asking questions about your flying off with a storm like this coming”.

Concern for the nation? He was probably secretly rooting for whitey to drown in the Jersey and NY flooding.

Sounds more like laziness to me......

Obozo's toast, he knows it.....so why not go back to the White Hut and begin planning you final worldwide tour and taxpayer funded shopping spree with 'Me'shell and the kids?

Bill's probably only staying on the campaign trail to keep Hilary's bills paid by Barack and to stop Obozo from throwing her under the bus.....too bad Obozo will have two and a half months to do just that anyways before Romney takes office.

In the end, Obozo is probably going to make "Billy from Hope" look like a Dope by January.....

This way, the Fraud can blame Romney for doing what Dims love to do — politicizing the weather!

My first thought when it was revealed that he flew to Orlando, FL and then turned right around and went back to D.C. to "monitor" the storm was that someone showed him the latest internals and he said, "Then why bother, let's go back and look presidential. Yeah. That's the ticket. Show folks that I'm presidential. That should divert attention away from Libya too."

Remember how everyone regarded McCain’s suspension of his campaign during the banking crisis a colossal blunder that cost him the election? Why did Obama do exactly the same thing now?

Romney should continue his campaign, emphasizing that the future of this nation is even more important than the aftermath of the storm because only a strong economy can help rebuild the east coast.

Believe it was Thomas Sowell who, many years ago, observed that there's nothing very "benevolent" in "helping people with other people's money."

If the statement is misappropriated to Dr. Sowell, then, my apologies.

True benevolence is giving of oneself and one's own means. So-called "progressives" just miss that lesson when they try to apply such terms to what they do.

There is a huge difference between private charities and churches inspiring and organizing individuals to voluntarily donate their goods and services and politicians and bureaucrats who accrue power and fame for themselves by using need and disaster as an excuse for self-aggrandizement.

They’re making plans to postpone the election.

I believe Obama said in 2008 that a President must be able to multitask in reference to McCain suspending his campaign. Apparently he finds he is unable to multitask either. And in light of Benghazi, he is not able to manage one task well!
