I saw a BBC show about myfreeimplants.com a couple of years ago. It’s certainly odd, but I think it’s a symptom not a cause. We know there’s a big chunk of women out there whose self esteem is lowered because their breasts are small, it’s silly, it’s sad, but they were there long before the internet. Somebody figured out a way for them to beg for money to get them bigger, again kind of silly, maybe sad too. What I find funny is that the site pre-dates kickstarter, which is basically the same thing only for venture capital.

There is a bright side, sort of: at least she's asking. All too many people nowadays have absorbed the "lesson" the libs have been teaching: that anything you want is a "right" that you are "entitled" to, and thus you can force others to pay for it (e.g. free birth control pills).

I certainly would not contribute any of my money to this "enterprise".

We have two friends who had to have breast reduction surgery within the past couple of years because of back pain and another who is considering doing the same thing. Theirs were natural breasts, so this gal had better think before doing that.
