‘The winds go sweeping through the plains?”.. Not with wind turbines impeding their momentum!

Their real enemy is electricity. Watch the idiotic remake of The Day The Earth Stood Still for the left’s idea of environmentalism- destroy the world built by people and deprive them of all energy.

It used to be that hydro power was “clean energy.” Hoover and kicked it off with some big dams, and when the green people started to multiply, they argued strongly for hydro.

Then, after dams had been built all over the country, they suddenly discovered that they were killing fish. Since then, many dams have been torn down at the urging of the greenies.

I’ve always figured the same thing would happen with windmills. Spend a few trillion building them all over the place and then suddenly “discover” that they are killing birds. Then use more tax dollars to tear them all down again.

This article is satire—but only because it’s too early. First, we need to build them, before we tear them down. Preferably all over the place at astronomical expense.

Of course it is a parody...but...we are extracting measurable energy from the winds. We will alter wind patterns and effects.

Since the enviro-dorks think that what is now is what should always be...anything you do will be - by definition - wrong.

Let us remember that just above the science F students (journalists and politicians) come the science D students (environmentalists).

Call for Captain Obvious!

For years it has been pointed it that windmills bleed energy from the wind.

That energy taken from the wind might have made a beneficial difference down the road.

IOW energy taken from say Montana might have benefited areas downwind.

There was never any necessity to install those millions of ugly, noisy, bird killing monstrosities.

There is plenty of wind turbulence on high density Interstates and low profile installations could have been engineered to capture it. In fact there are designs in development.

The people (gubmint) who promoted the destruction of beautiful landscape and ocean views with this ‘power source’ should be punished.
