Why we will win:
Yesterday while walking to my car after dinner at a local restaurant, I saw a Toyota Prius parked in one of two handicap parking spaces. In Virginia, to park in a handicap spot, you must have either a special license plate with the wheelchair symbol, or a blue placard hanging on the rearview mirror. The Prius had neither. But the vehicle did have two bumper stickers, one saying Obama 2012, and another saying I Love Obamacare.
I am 64 years old, and my knees are gone. I refuse to park in a handicap spot because I see so many people worse off than me. My wife beats me up all the time, because I wont even park close to anywhere I happen to be going, for the same reason.
What kind of un-caring, self-centeredness and outright arrogance can give a person like this Obama voter psychological permission to not only break the law, but to act to display this arrogance for all to see?
They dont care what people think, apparently they feel entitled and exhibit the opposite of what they claim to be.
Obamas reign, his way of governing, has given them this permission slip, and it has exposed them all for what they truly are, and have been for sometime-heartless and uncaring.
We have seized the moral high-ground-territory which the left should never have been able to claim in the first-place. We see evidence of this every day, if well just look.
You shoulda called the cops! I have! It’s a $250 ticket in Ohio, and they love to get that easy money.
Having seized the “moral high ground” (or at least higher ground than the typical D. voter), does not mean we’re going to win. There’s lots of them out there.
Romney will win because (a) Americans have seen what Obama is all about and they don’t like it, and (b) over 60% of Americans do not like Obamacare and intrusive government.
Why didn’t spell check work???
Remember Chick-Fil-A!
Sadly, I think that the opposite is true. I think more and more people are calculating that nobody needs to play by the rules any more, and that playing by the rules is for suckers.
Why on earth would you work for a living when you can vote yourself a living?
We’ve always had the moral high ground.
Democrats have a political party based on theft, greed, and debauchery. A garden slug has the moral high ground by comparison.
Sometimes I wish that I had a pack of Post-It notes in my purse that are pre-printed with the slogan — “You are in a handicapped space — $ XXXX fine in the State of Wisconsin”
I’d just peel one off and slap it on the driver’s door window, or on the wind shield.
Wisconsin is terrible for it. Even those with tags are questionable. Any weekend at the mall you can see the handicapped jumping out of their vehicles running to the doors of the local mall. Many seem to move alot better than I do.
It is simple. The elite think they are more important than others so the rules do not apply to them.
“It is simple. The elite think they are more important than others so the rules do not apply to them.”
This sums it up nicely. From gun control (but they or their body guards are armed, to altering our lifestyles to the negative for their ideas of carbon credits or reductions, or even taxes where they still seem entitled to cheat right up to our treasury secretary... They are ‘entitled’ in their minds.
Of course having our First lady using Airforce One as her personal free vacation recreation vehicle doesn’t help.
Stop and think folks...this Obamacare lover has to be MENTALLY handicapped. So it’s probably best they did park close to the store so they didn’t get lost in the parking lot looking for a way in.
You missed the point ! The driver is MORALLY handicapped, indeed severely so.
True but the reality is that handicap hang tags are easily purchased illegally. For some mysterious reason, people of color driving ghetto cruisers have a high rate of disability even though they seem to be able to walk just fine into the liquor store. And we are just supposed to look the other way because we don’t know for a fact that they are scamming the system.
Don’t judge by appearance.....
I’m sure some have legitimate health issues. I have good days and bad days, but on a good day I dont take up the last handicap spot. And I’m sure there is alot of fraud. Just because there is a tag hanging from your window doesnt mean it’s yours.
