A few weeks ago, Twitchy reported on Twitter users threatening to riot if President Obama loses to GOP rival Mitt Romney. With four days to go until Election Day, we decided this is a topic worth revisiting. The results of our Twitter searches are not pretty:

Those are just the riot threats posted today (Friday November 2nd). It is reasonable to assume that hundreds more were posted prior to today — all of them ignored by a complacent, biased mainstream media.
Interestingly, the threats made today were posted exclusively by supporters of President Obama. We weren’t able to find even one Republican threatening to riot if Mitt Romney loses.
Granted, most of these riot threats were probably made in jest, but a few may be serious. People who do not respect property rights and have little regard for the rules governing civil society have been known to riot over matters of less importance than a presidential election.
Our advice: Be prepared.
No problemo. They’ll all find equality over the sights of my FAL.
They should get paid for doing it they are so good at it
and they have no other skills to speak of. I am surprised they could even spell words.
All rioters -who survive- (don’t come to my street) should be
prosecuted for sedition and sent to Guantanamo Bay for an
extended stay in one of it’s beachfront cottages.
But.. -in reality- ..they will be given some free chit and
sent home with a ticket for disorderly conduct.
When you add in these growing threats of incited social unrest which I believe will happen regardless of which way the election goes, and the growing chance of real social unrest in the Sandy ravaged areas the next few days will be like walking a mine field.
Recent events show how quickly things can spiral out of control and add in manufacture Flash Mobs and to some extent legitimate growing animosity and hopelessness of the hurricane victims we have a real witches brew boiling and the lid could blow off at the least provocation.
I can’t help, but think of this quote which is one of my favorites:

Clearly there’s a storm coming, as great as a hurricane and like you do when a hurricane comes your way you either prepare to weather it or you become a victim of it.

For those of you who haven’t started already it’s time to prepare almost past time maybe. You needed to be stocking up on food guns, ammo, basic household supplies like soap, papergoods, cleaning supplies, good sturdy clothes including extra socks, underwear and extra shoes and boots, a extra couple changes of oil and filters for your car, tools, things you buy everyday start buying two and put one up.
