Not sure if you're talking about a bulk procedure, and I'm not a facebook guy ... but

Can't you just drag the photo onto your desktop? Or right click (double click on apple - not sure on iPad) and select 'save image as' ... and then use 'import into library' from iPhoto?

Might not be catching the question right, and probably someone will answer who uses Facebook & iPads ....

Good luck ...

It may be a permissions thing. I just started using an iPad for Facebook a couple days ago. What app are you using? I have MyPad and the Facebook app. I can download pictures on MyPad but not Facebook.

I know how to save Facebook pics to Photos on my iPad. I have save many pics over the years.

When using Facebook on iPad, I press on a picture. That action then shows the pic on another screen. I then press and hold on the pic and the SavePhoto tab and then the pic would normally appear in Photos.

Pic no longer go to Photos.

Many thanks for any help.

Beware Facebook.

It is being used by the US Gubermint and all kinds of organizations (political and commercial) to track you and your friends.

You are arming the bad guys with your personal choices and relationships and I guarantee - YOU - are not the beneficiary of their data mining.

Works fine for me. Are you in photos or photo stream within the photos app? I saved a pic, opened photos and it wasn’t there. I was looking at the photo stream. When I switched to photos it was there.

Make sure the Facebook app is turned on in settings/privacy/photos then if you press and hold on the photo a save button will pop up.
