So Romney lost. Next!

Posted on 11/07/2012 5:11:40 AM PST by cotton1706

Let's take bets on who the next worthless moderate the republican establishment will foist on us to the exclusioon (and the willful destruction) of all others.

We all know they will be meeting in closed-door rooms very soon, to line up support for their next loser.

Ourselves, or families and our God. It's what we've always had.

but who do we have?

I don’t see anyone yet. It isn’t Santorum, it isn’t Gingrich, it won’t be Christie, Bush isn’t acceptable, so it will be someone coming up who we probably haven’t heard of yet.

“Romney didn’t lose.

The party that boo-ed God at their convention won.

Think about it.”

Good points. Romney ran a pretty good campaign. Most people here were pretty excited 24 hours ago and eager to have him in office.
Now; Wednesday morning he is a worthless candidate??

Yeah let's fix it. But how? I don't know the answers.

But one thing is we suck at getting minority voters. That HAS to change.

Hispanics view us as unfriendly them. That HAS to change. Fast growing demographic; that we miss out on. We can't ignore it.
Many are small business owners; they should all vote conservative.

Allen West lost too.

He was not conservative enough! He was a Rino Like Romney,

You dummies just don't get it, Conservatism lost big, Look at all the Senators that lost.

If Romney ran as a real Rino, he would have won. But his hard stand on immigrates, planned parenthood lost him the election.

The kids on under 40 are libs forever and Godless.

Smell the roses, conservatism is over in America,

In a few years We all we be Californians.

Romney was an excellent candidate and person to boot. It would have been great to see energy independence and a strong and proud country again in my lifetime.

The other candidate was dishonorable and the media (who really benefits here) ran a race that fed to peoples base instincts of fear...

We will never find a candidate who is honorable that can win a race of hate and division as long as we, as a country, fear success.

It would have been amazing to watch the next 4 years if Romney had won... the media will be the big winners in the next 4 years as the scandals and suffering provide them endless content.

Hillary won’t run - she is hideous.

Kinda of a unspoken rule in politics - no hideous winners.

“The Republican and Tea Parties make a mistake by allowing themselves to be spread over too many issues.”

Yep the GOP looks like the democratic party years ago when they were focusing on Gay, Abortion, etc.

The Tea Party is the best thing for the Dems - extreme right wingers who won’t vote Republican. We will end up like Canada, where the Liberal parties rules and the conservatives are splintered.

Race politics only works when the candidate is Democrat. Black and Latino GOP candidates get torpedoed in elections just the same as the White ones.

Actually “Conservatives” are in power in Canada. You are right though, the US will be Canada in that it won’t matter who wins, voter turnout will eventually begin to drop (probably 45% participation rate) because the vast majority will finally realize it doesn’t matter who wins. Nothing will be different, well, maybe around the edges. Canada is just an advanced democracy and what that means is multiple parties that argue around the edges with a population that doesn’t care, for the most part. See your future

Agree. Americans are getting more and more liberal.

In which case the only thing left to us (besides prayer) is Civil War II. Th econservative people of these United states need to relocate to a few states (taking eveyrthing we can with us) and secede from the United States.

If conservatism is dead in the USA then the USA is also dead and it doesn't matter who we run. All that matters is that we kill enough of them so that they'll leave us alone. Give them the coasts, we'll take the heartland and live our lives right.

(Or perhaps we can, over a period of years, recapture our founders vision and reclaim our country!)

I’m not so sure that’s true. I think the conservatives in America are realizing that it’s 6 of one and half dozen of the other. It’s a show and people are starting to see that. See my comment above about the state of Canada. You’re basically going to get the same policies no matter who wins. The thing that is supposed to stop the politicians from going too far left is now not much of barrier (the constitution). As I have said in the past, the founders were probably far right of Ron Paul on economic issues. What made America special was the idea that the individual was in control. You rise and fall from the sweat of your brow. That is no longer the case, you have safety nets, welfare programs, government health care. In essence, America is no longer exceptional. Just like everyone else

No, the GOP basically killed Allen West’s chances of reelection by redistricting him out. Why? FEAR.

When faced with someone who knows how to use the big guns, the enemy, and this is the GOP as well as the Dums, want to take those guns out. Allen West almost pulled off a victory, even fighting the GOP AND the Dums.

They aren’t taking out my brother like that. I’m a redleg too. FIRE MISSION!
