I hope I am posting this properly - I am new to the FR and this is my first post. I want to say how deeply I am disturbed at the hostility to the military in our administration and sickened as I know many of you are at what our society has become. That’s the one. With the Commandant wanting more faggots and now this, it won’t be long until they’re joined with the Army and the USMC will be no more, just a footnote on the pages of history. We once had enough vets in the house and senate, but no more.
My older brother served in Viet Nam. He was smart and studied what happened politically and socially in US when those sympathic to the communists rose to power. He wanted me to understand that the liberals were more sympathic to the enemy - communists - than they were to the US system and the soldiers who defended it. In fact, they did all they could to harm soldiers in the battle fields on behalf of their comrades.
My dad was a Naval officer lifer and he told me (a seventh grader) to listen to what brother told me and to understand him.
It’s all happening again where liberals are sympathic to Muslim jihadists and have created a political climate where it is politically dangerous to support the troops via defeating the enemy - mentally and physically. They have anti-American rules of engagement like they did in VN and social doctrines of sympathy for the enemy and endangering the troops.
I feel obligated to raise heck on the behalf of the troops for what Obama and the p.c political class and military brass are doing to the troops in their sympathy to Islamic pinheads. Soldiers can not speak! Their families are limited as well. They can not object when the military brass places the Taliban on their bases to murder them, for example. They come home as vets to find out our pro-Muslim Obama government targets them as the real terrorists - domestic enemies - because they are patriotic (support freedom).
Liberals in both parties do this because they claim their effort will make the enemy love freedom and the US. That won’t happen and it is another chapter of betrayal to our troops. When Reagan came in and stated he would destroy the communists, liberals tossed a huge fit but he did it anyway. He did it economically and the Soviet Union fell under Bush #2. Today liberals are up to the same game. Obama...
Just so we know (military loved ones have contacted me) on this forum, when I condemn the military brass it is not the soldiers I am condemning. When General Patreaous came out as the director of the CIA and demanded America’s first amendment be dictated by Shaira, I thought I would lay an egg! It was the ultimate betrayal! Basturds! Leftists are basturds. In and past they harmed my brother and still today they are working to bring down the US!

What is happening today in our gov. and also to the military would break my father’s and grandfather’s hearts if they were alive. My grandfather was an orphan who lived in a farmer’s barn after his parents died, worked his way through college without any help, worked through medical school, volunteered for both WWI and WWII and ended up a colonel. My father tried desperately to volunteer for WWII but was rejected for health reasons but served the country he loved so much as a civilian.
