“America has its own Nigerian Prince. I think you know his name by now.”
You mean Kenyan. Same scam.
This article is a ‘keeper’ and a real contrast to the smug comments of Bill Press this morning on c-span.
I’m quickly finding Dan Greenfield to be second only to Mark Steyn on my list of most astute (and should I say “wise”) columnists.
Great analysis of our current situation. I’d say the Sultan must have been very pissed when he wrote it. Look at all of those paragraphs that basically say the same thing...lol
>>You mean Kenyan
“Nigerian Prince” would be a reference to what was probably the mostly widely distributed email scams of all time.

We used to count pennies. Now we count plastic cards. When you cant see real money dwindling away, it just isnt real at all. We have no guage. After pleading guilty to 31 of 69 charges of bank fraud, mail fraud and wire fraud in 2001, Mezvinsky went on to serve federal prison time and was released April 11, 2008. Mezvinsky was a Philadelphia lawyer and self-styled international businessman who in some ways was a pioneer scam artist. Before the Nigerian advance fee scam became a ubiquitous experience in Americans' email in-boxes, Mezvinsky was deftly executing the scam in real time, convincing victims to hand over large amounts of cash based on his close connections to the Clinton family.Marc Mezvinsky is Chelsea Clinton's husband.
Obama conned women into believing that women can have guilt and consequence free sex because of free birth control and easy abortions. This wont get them husbands or jobs. Obama missed a bet by not offering free batteries too.

Are there any Solomons left?
Greenfield was so even-keeled and rational just after the election. But as this essay reveals, even he can wail and gnash.
He is not a detached, cerebral, ivory tower, observer. He's fully engaged and I sense increasingly both concerned and angry as we all are.
Cool.
