If pizza doesn't have the char, then it's not pizza.

Chicago pizza isn’t pizza. It’s more like pizza quiche.

I completely agree with you on dominos, pizza hut, papa johns, etc. As for thick crust pizza, the only thing that comes to mind regarding thick crust pizzas here are called sicilian slices/pies. Also they’re square in shape.

The only thing wrong these companies did is announce what they are going to do. As Tuco said, if your going to shoot, shoot, don’t talk. They should of said nothing and just implement their plan.

Under a law called the WARN Act, they have to announce ahead of time.

It’s an interesting twist, “Chick Fil A-ing” Applebee’s. they boycott, we patronize. They don’t lose workers because of the extra business, and the left thinks they “win” and think their boycott works. It might actually work.

Because Obamacares insurance mandates only apply to workers working more than 30 hours per week, chains like Red Lobster and the Olive Garden have said they will look into cutting workers hours also. Will it be harder to get breadsticks?

I put my ‘Who is John Galt?’ bumper sticker on my minivan two days after the election.
I’ve read ‘Atlas Shrugged’ twice. The second time it almost scare me in its reality. Next I’m waiting for portions of ‘The Hunger Games’ to begin in real life. The line that President Snow utters about stifling hope sent a chill down my spine (we watched the movie last night, but I’ve also read the book).

This is so stupid: All Applebee’s needs to do is unionize the workforce, raise the starting salary for union waitstaff to $56 per hour, and then get an exemption for Obamacare.

Will it be harder to get breadsticks?
Homemade Bread Sticks
1 1/4 cups milk,
1 egg
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup white sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
3 cups bread flour
1 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
Place the milk and butter in a plastic container and heat to 120 degrees (OK to microwave)
Put egg into the liquid and slowly stir with a fork to help the butter melt and break up the egg
Pour the liquid ingredients into your mixing bowl
Put the salt, sugar and bread flour into a dry bowl, mix with fork and pour it into the mixing bowl so its on top of the wet ingredients
Make a little pocket on top of the flour/salt mix and put the yeast into that pocket
Stir for 15-25 minutes until its thoroughly mixed
Cover for 70 minutes to retain heat and moisture, allow to do the first rise
After the 1st rise, place on lightly floured cutting board and evenly divide into ten sections
Take each sections and gently roll into around eight inch long tubes
Place each tube onto shortening-brushed cookie pan, evenly spaced (1-inch apart)
Cover for 1 hour for 2nd rise (I put them in my oven with a plastic container with hot water in it to maintain humidity)
Bake at 345 degrees for 12 minutes.
Enjoy!!

I can see it now...
Applebee's goes Chapter 11, Obama steps in, Preferred Shareholders and Bondholders get screwed, it Bernake buys Applebee's stock, the Waiter's Union gets Ownership and a Healthcare Waiver and they open up kiosk's at Chevy Dealers....
Don't ask about the menu...

Obama did say he wanted to ‘return the wealth to its rightful owner, the worker’ and also said that he wanted to do for other businesses what he did for the auto industry. So, your description fits!
