Axelrod's Next Project: Inspiring Young People to Become 'Journalists'
CNS News ^ | November 11, 2012 | Terence P. Jeffrey

President Barack Obama's senior campaign adviser David Axelrod said on CBS's "Face the Nation" on Sunday that his next project will include inspiring young people to become "journalists."

"What do you do next?" CBS's Bob Schieffer asked Axelrod.

"I'm going to spend part of my time starting an institute of politics at the University of Chicago," said Axelrod. "My feeling is if I can help inspire some young people to get into this arena as candidates, as strategists, as journalists, then that would be a great contribution to make."

The Axelrod Borgello factory.

I’ve felt so dirty and embarrassed the nation put a smile on Obama’s face election night that - until just now - I’d totally forgotten about this fat piece of crap and what that night meant to him.

My God...I’m surrounded by millions of the stupidest people in the history of the world.

Didn’t Obama carry on and on about education and how many teachers he was going to hire blah blah blah?

I guess Axelrod is getting set up to collect his government money. OPM.

The green scam seems to have been stopped, this is the new one, I bet.

They’re getting old and viewership and readership is dwindling... they need a training camp for propagandists, not just parrots. The press is all parrots now, disseminating talking points, often word for word. Imagine what they could do if they were trained and organized propagandists from the outset.

Let’s put this into prospective. Newspaper journalism is now pretty limited...mostly because there’s no profit for newspapers.

The TV journalists? If you check the big three networks, and the dynamic duo of MSNBC and CNN...there’s a fairly limited audience for their situation.

Time and NewsWeak? Both are dissolving.

So the only real possibility left is the blog world. If you were a kid offered opportunities in life...trying to make some small wage deal via the blog world or spending two years at a community college in robotic design...I think I’d take the community college route.

What I see is 50k dimwit 18-year olds who suddenly get Axelrod’s message and decide to enter college next August...in journalism. They get themselves $60k in debt and find themselves living in dad’s garage in seven years...mostly because of bad advice.

What's the matter, Axelgoebbels? You wish more networks besides MSNBC would swallow?

...all of the LIES you tell them. Gee whiz, what did you THINK I meant?

Cheers!

Forget Axlerod, someone better be figuring out how to inspire young people to become Conservatives.

They have the MSM (including most newspapers and all but half of one TV network), Hollywood, most of the music industry, the unionized teachers, university professors, and the unions.

What do we have?

And how exactly do we think we can win this battle when we carry a pea shooter into a machine-gun fight?
