Heard him say it. He warned his listeners to not be surprised when Petraeus restates before Congress that the 'the video caused the riots.' I guess we'll see. If Rush is right, we have to wonder what threats Petraeus has received and from whom.

He is what we real combat officers in the early 70’s to mid 70’s, who had commanded troops in combat in RVN saw with our new snot nose 2LT’s and 1LT’s in 73-74 like him, plus their teachers-”our BN and BDE CO’s.” These damn LT’s would sit at the O club asking the BN CO how to map out their damn career before they could lead a damn rifle platoon. The LTC’s gladly played mentor just like Betrayus does. Those LTC’s who were mech INF in RVN and claimed they won the war and every damn battle to include Duc Lap, were the biggest bunch of hot air I ever served with. Yes, this damn 4th ID mech INF BN CO in RVN claimed he saved Duc Lap SF Camp. He was an O-6 in 73. He was pure BS. I got up and told every damn officer in the BDE and BN at the breakfast table-”Col-You are a damn LIAR” as the II Corps Mike Force and the 5th Group Mike Force both landed at Ban Me Thout East and camped outside our Project Omega Compound at Ban Be Thout East. They saved Duc Lap in late aug 68-NOT YOU.These mech Inf officer types do not think right. They think like tanker clankers without the damn armor to protect them. No wonder Petraeus has no darn idea how to set up a mortar section as APC’s are different. He disgusts every real Infantry soldier and marine.

No. A retired officer of the United States (as are all military officers) can be stripped of rank and pension only if he faces a general court martial, is found guilty under the UCMJ, and is then dismissed from the service. Even Obama isn't crazy enough to court martial Petraeus, for then every bit of dirty laundry would become public. We'll see tomorrow how honorable a man is Petraeus.
You are thinking of the OLD MILITARY JUSTICE SYSTEM, where "National Security" is invoked whenever that "Dirty Laundry" has to be hidden.
His Defense in a Court Martial would NOT implicate ANYONE, other than those that are designated to take the Fall; count on it.
I still maintain that he was FORCED to Resign, and cut a "Plea Bargain" to keep himself whole, in exchange for NOT DISCLOSING The Messiah and his entourage as having repeatedly lied to the Public, and having PROVIDED THE ARMS AND MUNITIONS to those who killed the Americans in Bengazi.
