I think it is likely that the Petraeus tells all in executive session - more than enough to have Obama impeached.
I also think it is likely that the “shocked” committee members do approximately nothing with the information.
If the truth of the affair is already out, will he tell the truth? What else could he be blackmailed with?
Actually what Obama says about responsibility and how he ultimately behaves are two different things. He never ever takes responsibility for anything that goes wrong. The fact that he said come after me won’t even be addressed when he starts to evade the blame.

Although I hope he will live up to his duty, I doubt he will. He has already illustrated his lack of character and honor. Most likely he will go into self preservation mode.
This is one of those pivotal/fork in the road moments in a person's life. There are choices we make in life that we can never undo, we regret these choices for the rest of our lives and I sadly believe he is about to make another of those wrong choices.
I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up eating a bullet after this whole thing is over.

We already know that our people were murdered in large part because the State Dept denied them security.
And to think a couple of BP people will be charged with manslaughter. What happens to the to the people that caused State Dept failures and lost lives?
It wasn’t even negligent—it was a full on deliberate shutting and locking of the door to our people, leaving them outside and prey to the enemy.

Patsy Patreaus didn’t get where he was both in the military and govt by doing what was right...he did it by doing what was politically expedient.
So, of course, he won't.
I do hope Petraeus does the right thing, but don’t forget, we also put our hopes in SCOTUS relative to ObamaCare.
Nothing is going to happen at all.
Same as ObamaCare - people like roberts, petraues, etc etc are loyal to the power structure not the people or Constitution.
Even if he did deliver damning evidence of cover-up and lies,
the MSM would just ignore the story.
