Wow, thanks!

Pinging myself to this thread for later.

The recipe looks great. I’m going back to low carbing after Thanksgiving. I remember when I did it a few years ago, it was pretty easy after the first few days. But I so did miss the occasional piece of cake.

Do you have a recommendation for almond flour sources? We live in the middle of nowhere and have to order some things online. Thx.

I remember you. Kevin Davis credited you with his graphic for the SciFi thread. If this is a hijack, please overlook or ignore. Thx.
Yes, just checked and carlo3b is a chef and his recipes are of the mouth-watering variety. Can’t wait to order the almond flour for the apricot confection!

I got this recipe online a few years back and it helps to keep me on track. I'm 62 and been doing low carb for 2 years. I'm in better health now than when I was young.

Low Carb Chocolate Bark

1/4 cup coconut oil

1 1/2 tablespoon cocoa powder

1 oz peanuts (optional)

1 packet truvia, or the sweetner of your choice

Mix all the ingredients together and spread in a plastic wrap lined loaf pan. Freeze for 5-10 minutes.

A forum I joined a few years ago and has a lot of LC recipes and health info - http://forum.lowcarber.org/index.php?

Haven’t posted there in a long time because I don’t remember my user info and I’m sure the e-mail I used is no longer active either.

I still go and read sometimes while trying to get back on LC. Might see my user name on one of the old threads I posted on and remember.

What would the carb change be if real cane sugar was used instead of Splenda?

Yes I did a couple of the SciFi thread graphics (Babylon 5 and Stargate I think it was), thank you for remembering. My other claims to fame in FReeperdom are the graphic to the Free Iran ping list for DrZin and the artwork for the FReeper Mug that was a promotional giveaway to monthlies a few years ago. /brag :)

You can buy the almond flour at the grocery store in the organic section or buy it on Amazon.com.

Can you, or someone tell me what "Bfl" means, I'm not as hip as I think I am, and have searched this out and am as confused as ever.. Some of the definitions are too far off track, others are, well, not flattering.. LOL

It means “Bump for later” as the person wants to mark it and read it all when more convenient.
