With this election I noticed it seems to be every man for himself. So, why buy American? I mean, most of the jobs that can be outsourced are Obama voter type of jobs. It would please me to find more of them out of work. Heck, I am already paying for most of their care as it is since many of them don’t pay income taxes and I pay more taxes than they make. So, who cares if they get hurt? We’re doomed anyway and if I need final preps at a low cost I will seek the best price. American “workers” be damned. Besides, those workers were the ones places like Wal-Mart targeted with cheap imports in the first place years ago. It hurt their own jobs but they were too stupid to see that.

Gross.

Union guys don’t call union guys to service their homes, they prefer non-union.

The greatest gift we can give is our time. Instead of unneeded trinkets which will be stored away or discarded give your parents and/or your children a picnic in the park. Give your spouse a dinner out (or fix a special dinner for her/him yourself). Take your young children to a historical place, or family cemetery, and teach them something about their heritage. Spend a day with your elderly mother by taking her to church and then a drive in the country. Create a moment in time the recipient will remember long after a trinket will be forgotten. Smile, laugh, and love reconnecting to someone who is dear to you.

A gift of one’s time or labor will not only be special to the recipient, it will help starve the chain stores who no longer recognize Christ. It will deny government the tax revenue extracted from store transaction. Finally it will allow you to shepherd your financial resources for the much tougher economic conditions we know are coming. No doubt our Lord will approve and be honored by your actions in memory of him.
