RINO Consultant Steve Schmidt Blames Rush Limbaugh & Tea Party for Romney Loss
Michelle Obama's Mirror ^ | 11-26-2012 | MOTUS

On the last day of this year’s Thanksgiving holiday, we are going to focus on a few more things that the Wons and their constituents have to be truly thankful for this year.

Number one on the list of heretofore unmentioned blessings is Rush Limbaugh. Apparently without him Big Guy never would have WON!

Let’s start with the charge made by Steve-Sarah-Palin-made-McCain-lose-not-our-crappy-campaign-Schmidt: on Meet the Press two weeks ago he named Rush as this year’s scapegoat. He explained how the lovable little fluff ball was responsible for undermining the Romney campaign strategy developed by himself and fellow Big Brained consultant Mike Murphy. That would be the time honored “prevent defense” strategy proven again and again to all butt guarantee a loss.

03-12-09_boyd_original (snip)Next, long time double-agent Pat Caddell took to the podium to place the blame for GOP failure squarely at the feet of(snip)the Republican "consultant-lobbyist-establishment" complex

the_republican_shipwreck(snip)Never a man to mince his words, Mr. Caddell went on to identify the media as the “enemy of the people” that needed to be dealt with and suggested that the Republican “consultant-lobbyist-establishment complex” needed to be “eviscerated.”

(snip) Which brings me to my last thing to put in this year’s big bucket of things to be thankful for: Oliver Stone’s Untold History of the United States, a 10 part revisionist U.S. history series (snip)

Founding_Fathers

(snip)So there you have it: a few…Continued

IMHO Steve Schmidt is the epitome of what is wrong with the Republican party. He is a loser from the word go.

Michele Bachmann hired Ed Rollins - the 1980s version of Steve Schmidt. He lasted approximately 10 minutes before he left the campaign and then went on tv trashing her.

Some women candidates need to avoid certain macho male thick-necked lunkhead consultants.

“Michele Bachmann hired Ed Rollins - the 1980s version of Steve Schmidt. He lasted approximately 10 minutes before he left the campaign and then went on tv trashing her.”

Needs repeating. Anyone who associates with Schmidt is disgusting in my book. HE and HE alone began trashing Palin and it was beneath any campaign to have done that. It was HER that was part of the ticket and it was Schmidt that trashed her all during that campaign. Remember the “clothes in the belly of the plane” garbage talk? I was so disgusted with how Romney ended his campaign, not going for the jugular, going for the eyes! We had this election in the bag until the Romney team went to the center and blurred the lines between Obama and Romney. UGH. I am SICK of losers, and I'm SICK of letting the Dems and Progressives and the commies and the Muslim lovers make decisions for this great nation and then sick to death of the GOP turning the other cheek. The House of Rep. controls the purse strings. DO something about cutting off funds. And to top it off - there WAS voter fraud all over the swing states, MY WI included. GOP won't even fight against this? WHY?

Steve Schmidt is the low-life rat-bastard that did everything in his power to sabatage Palin and her running partner Juan Mecain in 2008.

Go back 12 years and Schmidt and Murphy managed the worst campaign in the history of NY state politics Rick Lazio’s run against Hillary. My cousin, a good friend and adviser to Lazio, expected to win as state GOP polling had never seen a candidate with higher negatives than Clinton. Then Schmidt and Murphy, fresh from McCain’s losing campaign, were hired by Lazio at McCain’s urging and what followed was the single worst campaign anyone had ever seen. Yet for the GOP nothing succeeds like failure. Schmidt and Murphy are still thought of as geniuses.

I don’t understand what you meant to say? McCain told Lazio to hire Schmidt/Murphy back in the day?

You mean McCain knew Schmidt back in the year 2000?

I didn’t know that...

I pretty much blame the RINO leadership that forced Romney upon us in the first place. Any time any of the other candidates mustered a challenge against him (and it seems like all of them did, except Paul), they were beaten down savagely.

Romney won the primaries thanks to outspending on mostly attack ads.
Then sailed into an election where such a strategy would be nearly impossible, given that 0 had more money, so he abandoned that and didn't even bother attacking 0's actual record.

So basically, Romney ran against 0bama about the same way the conservative rivals ran against him, with about the same results.
