GQ magazine has just announced their list of "The Least Influential People of 2012" "a collection of people so uninspiring that we should round them all up and stick them on an iceberg."
While some, like Hulk Hogan (#24), may be obvious picks, others such as Michelle Obama's exile to the iceberg came as a bit of a surprise.
Below are GQ's top 15 picks, along with an explanatory line of their biting commentary:
15. Bobby Valentine: "a man whose greatest accomplishment in baseball remains wearing a fake-mustache disguise to sneak back into the dugout after getting ejected from a game."
14. Billy Crystal: "It's a measure of how irrelevant the Oscars have become that Eddie Murphy could back out of the gig and producers thought that bringing in an even more washed-up comic would somehow rejuvenate the ceremony."
13. Lance Armstrong: "It's like peeling back the layers of an onion that's nestled inside an a--hole."
12. Keith Olbermann: "There was only one bridge left for Olbermann to burn this year, and when it was time for him to alienate himself from Current TV, he did it in classic Olbermann fashion."(continued)

then melt the iceberg
I hope the fool who wrote this soon meets his or her own personal Trayvon Martin.
And the fool doesn't get it right. GZ was not concerned about his life - he was on a neighbor watch. We see it's Aly Weisman who is deluding himself.
Do they include Paris Hilton on that list? I haven’t seen that nutty little blond-haired scamp around lately.
Thanks for helping me to avoid the link.
others such as Michelle Obama’s exile to the iceberg came as a bit of a surprise.
Other then spend our money on lavish vacations what else did she do??
Besides running around telling us what we should eat? Well, she uh... You got me.
You should realize that she didn’t write the list. She’s reporting on the list.
This list is so typical of leftist “snark” — it’s juvenile, idiotic, and tacky beyond belief.
Cannot believe that the media is still pushing the Black KKK Racist tripe in regards to George Zimmerman.
Trayvon Martin would not have been capped if he did not assault George Zimmerman.
But, then again, GQ magazine caters to the “NearQueer” crowd (as my uncle one said of GQ)...their readers would be too busy criticizing the wardrobe of a hottie like Aly Weisman.....
A deluded female - lots of those obama voters in the USA, nothing unique about her, she's in with the heap of retards. Putty in the hands of Obama's sons.
Picking a retard to report lies/twisted facts is ‘in’. Rice comes to mind.
You are right to point out that she did not write the GQ list, but she did choose to repeat GQ's extremely offensive libel of Zimmerman to a wider audience. She made no attempt to distance herself from that libel. She apparently believed that her readers would find her selected GQ quotes amusing. Otherwise, what would be the point of the article? The selected quotes are presented without criticism or commentary from Weisman.

6. George Zimmerman
There's nothing funny about the tragic shooting death of Trayvon Martin. However, there is something morbidly comedic about a man deluding himself into thinking that his life is in danger because a black teenager walking by might assault him with a bag of Skittles. In George Zimmerman's world, he's a hero. Thankfully, very, very few other human beings live in George Zimmerman's world.
The author of the GQ piece (I did not see a byline) is fully responsible for what he or she wrote, and Aly Weisman is fully responsible for choosing to disseminate portions of it.
