You should realize that she didn’t write the list. She’s reporting on the list.
Picking a retard to report lies/twisted facts is ‘in’. Rice comes to mind.
You are right to point out that she did not write the GQ list, but she did choose to repeat GQ's extremely offensive libel of Zimmerman to a wider audience. She made no attempt to distance herself from that libel. She apparently believed that her readers would find her selected GQ quotes amusing. Otherwise, what would be the point of the article? The selected quotes are presented without criticism or commentary from Weisman.
Here is the full text that accompanies the GQ Zimmerman 'slide.'
6. George Zimmerman
There's nothing funny about the tragic shooting death of Trayvon Martin. However, there is something morbidly comedic about a man deluding himself into thinking that his life is in danger because a black teenager walking by might assault him with a bag of Skittles. In George Zimmerman's world, he's a hero. Thankfully, very, very few other human beings live in George Zimmerman's world.
The author of the GQ piece (I did not see a byline) is fully responsible for what he or she wrote, and Aly Weisman is fully responsible for choosing to disseminate portions of it.
