Please do not confuse the FR drama queens and concern trolls with the facts. I have also read the U.S. Constitution and concur with your understanding of “natural born”.
That said, I have yet to become a fan of Rubio. I cannot place my finger on it, but he seems to lack genuineness of belief. Maybe time will change my position.
If we aren’t able to ensure honest elections in the future everything we do will be a waste of effort.
I have a reason to be concerned. When asked he could not answer how old the earth is. It’s 4 and a half billion years give or take a few. How hard is that? Last thing we need is another Akin or Murdoch who are unable to answer basic questions.
BS, the Constitution specifically says citizens at the time of signing, after that you must be NBC.
Then perhaps you can explain why the requirement for all other offices are just "Citizen", yet POTUS is specified NBC, and then define the differenc. Oh, and name one court case.

The Democratic Party elites knew quite well before the election that BHO2 was ineligible under the U.S.Constitution. They spent a great deal of money and directed extraordinary means to cover their rear ends.

Starting in 2006, alterations of near surgical precision were performed excizing references to Minor v. Happersett, not just the case name, “Minor v. Happersett”, but whole passages related to Chief Justice Waite’s statements on the citizenship issue which were cited favorably in BOYD V. NEBRASKA EX REL. THAYER, 143 U. S. 135 (1892), and POPE V. WILLIAMS, 193 U. S. 621 (1904). Where Minor is cited on the issue of voting rights, no alterations occurred to those references in later US Supreme Court cases.
Eventually a total of 25 SCOTUS cases on justia.com would be found altered, and the Way Back Machine access to justia.com frozen.
