The 20-year-old Saudi Arabian man living in Lubbock, Texas was intent on waging jihad against Americanspossibly even a former U.S. presidentand he was one ingredient away from being able to build a powerful bomb.
But Khalid Ali-M Aldawsaris deadly plans began to unravel when a shipping companys suspicions were raisedillustrating once again how the FBI relies on private industry and the general public in the fight against terror.
In early February 2011, a Lubbock shipping firm received a package from a North Carolina chemical company containing 10 bottles of phenol intended for Aldawsari. Combined with just two other chemicals, phenol can be used to make a potent explosive. Delivering such poisonous chemicals to an individuals home is not common, so the shipping company contacted the North Carolina firm. Both decided that the phenol should not be delivered and that local law enforcement should be alerted. A Lubbock Police Department officer was called to the scene.

This is an entirely RACIST and bigoted action on the part of the shipping company. Had this man showed up at TSA, they would have escorted him to the plane with his science experiment. /s
There needs to be a serious change in punishment for foreigners found to have come here to commit acts of terror. I’m thinking death is appropriate. If you put them in prison, they will recruit other criminals into the violent religion of pieces.
No doubt the attempted bomber’s plot will be treated soley through the lens of a law-enforcement issue, and no considerations will be remotely considered with respect to his plans being an act of war against the U.S.
So now these nutty Muzzies will think twice before they buy a large lot??
So the FBI knew nothing about this terrorist...I’ll bet they know everything about every Tea Party Member in Lubbock.
