I liked a lot of 80s too. I was into some of the punk and rockabilly stuff (Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, The Clash, Stray Cats) but also had a few guilty favorites.

Ha! I have to admit to liking them too. I have Karma Chameleon on my iPod.

Another guilty pleasure, some old George Michael stuff.

And love 70s music.

Thanks! Hadn’t heard that one yet.

My fave by far:
“The Best thing”

Look up “The Valerie Collective”. All those artists are incredible (many on my list)

I listen to the above and genuinely wonder WTF happened. The last time I listened to XM (And I am not kidding) I flipped through the stations and heard “Nigger” on 3 stations in literally 5 seconds...1-2-3 back to back. What are the odds?

Parhetic what music has become.

Freeper DR. Bougus Pach(hell I can’t spell it to ping him ;)...reintroduced me to the music of Neil Zaza recently for which I will be eternally greatful. Check him out if you also love Steve Vai style guitar music.

My first concert was Duran Duran, in 1984, during a snow storm. My next concert was Iron Maiden w/Twisted Sister, so I had a pretty diverse musical interest, even way back then (I was in my early teens).

That pic made me laugh on the other thread and I’m getting another chuckle out of it now. Just hangin’ out at the curb and stuff...
