Created this last year for OMG! For America.
It's super-simple, but the importance of driving this message to the people has reached a point that was unimaginable only 20 years ago. Christmas tree, Christmas cards, Christmas vacation...and on it goes...sadly, they've all been replaced with "holiday" or something else.
You say what you believe. Anything else is dishonesty.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
FMCDH(BITS)
An agnostic friend sent me a Christmas card. He wrote to the effect of “just because I don’t believe in Jesus doesn’t mean I can’t wish you Merry Christmas anymore than the fact that I’m not a worshipper of Thor doesn’t mean I can’t wish you Happy Thursday”.
I write it in the memo line on my checks.
Say “Merry Christmas”!
If challenged regarding your disrespect for “diversity”, respond with:
“It provides others with a growth opportunity, to be diverse enough to accept MY point of view!”
Thus far this Christmas season (2012), of the many times I've wished cashiers / sales clerks a Merry Christmas, the response I get nine out of ten times is "same to you."
Not returning to the store / business thereafter for the remainder of the CHRISTMAS season and thereafter is my response to their response.
