No comment on this, but here is a link to a School Mass Murdering that was thwarted last Friday in Bartlesville, Ok. Connection? I don’t know, but with the online gaming socializing and befriending each other, this is a possibility. You do it, I’ll do it.

IIRC, Topix not allowed here.
The point about school violence being in a long decline will be ignored by all.
ewww, didn’t know that. Will look for another link source.
Why is Huckabee’s response “awful”? We have removed the Christian religion from the whole country, and see what a mess we’re in.
I couldn’t see the other responses because I could not click on anything.
Time for the emos and demogogues in the media to grow up, and time for the a-holes in politics who want to exploit the rare mass killing to STFU and quit messing with people.
We can talk about banning guns all day long but what are we going to do with all of the nuckin' futs running around out there?
I’m not Nick Gillespie.
If I had to guess, I'd say that his response is "awful" in the opinion of atheists and Libertarians everywhere. They think Huckabee is totally off base.
But, in fact, he is making the most important point. Thsi nation needs to reconnect with God.

With reference to the author's comments about the so-called "gun control" proponents, one is reminded that times of crisis are times when would-be tyrants find opportunity.
Emotional rhetoric from national, state and local political leaders about one disturbed individual's act which destroyed the lives and liberties of these 20 young innocents remind us that many of these leaders' ideology and policies devalue Creator-endowed life and liberty for millions of other innocents in the womb for whom no tears are shed either by them or the special interest groups who elect them.
At the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington DC on February 3, 1994, Mother Teresa stated: And if we accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another?"
Indeed, if we cannot protect the life and liberty of these smallest versions of ourselves, even with their so-called "imperfections," then Mother Teresa's words take on significant meaning.
Nothing can diminish the pain and loss which has been inflicted upon the CT community. Political leaders who may use that loss to lead a "national discussion," however, must not be allowed to limit the "discussion" to one focusing on inanimate weapons in the hands of a criminal or deranged portion of the society. Neither can it be used to emphasize only the so-called "progressive" political view.
The "discussion," to be worthy of the tragedy which prompts it, must also include a deeper discussion on the meaning and purpose of life at all its natural stages. Mother Teresa's words are worthy of consideration.
No one can possibly believe Diane is truly concerned for the safety and physical integrity of the very young.
And that goes for “conservatives” who want to exploit this also. They are just a different shade of statist.
As a society we have bought into the idea that if someone does wrong, it is societies fault; an individual commits a crime, therefore society must change. Kids shot at a school, the school did not have the right security, the community did not treat mentally disabled folks right, the country has inadequate gun laws. THIS THOUGHT PROCESS IS A CONSTRUCT OF MODERN PSYCHOLOGY. No matter what the problem, it is not the individual who needs to change or be fixed, but the community caused the problem and needs to change or be fixed. The question is immediately, where did WE go wrong? We must not find fault in the poor criminal. The offending person is sick, a product of environment a symptom of OUR inadequacy. He/she should not be held responsible nor punished, but he/she needs to be understood and helped. We have lost the concept of willful sin and the concept of evil and evil doers. Yes there may be reasons we can ascertain, but those reasons are today used as excuses. Any how that’s my story and I am sticking to it.
In regard to Huckabee’s comments I can’t stand opportunistic comments based on any agenda. left or right. Doesn’t matter. In huckabee’s case it is a waste of good ammo. That school could have said the Lord’s prayer every morning in that school and those kids would most likely still be dead.
You want to know why [these shootings keep happening]? This may sound cynical, but heres why. Its because of the way the media reports it. Flip on the news and watch how we treat the Batman theater shooter and the Oregon mall shooter like celebrities. Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris are household names, but do you know the name of a single victim of Columbine? Disturbed people who would otherwise just off themselves in their basements see the news and want to top it by doing something worse, and going out in a memorable way. Why a grade school? Why children? Because hell be remembered as a horrible monster, instead of a sad nobody. CNNs article says that if the body count holds up, this will rank as the second deadliest shooting behind Virginia Tech, as if statistics somehow make one shooting worse than another. Then they post a video interview of third-graders for all the details of what they saw and heard while the shootings were happening. Fox News has plastered the killers face on all their reports for hours. Any articles or news stories yet that focus on the victims and ignore the killers identity? None that Ive seen yet. Because they dont sell. So congratulations, sensationalist media, youve just lit the fire for someone to top this and knock off a day care center or a maternity ward next."
They coined a term after Columbine ... Blood Dancing. Tragically descriptive of how our MSM behaves after an event of this sort.
It’s Reason Magazine. While I line up with the libertarians on most issues, I part company with them when it comes to their generally universal rejection of God and faith in Him.
Sadly, they are no better than the marxist humanists in that area.
The DNC makes the bulk of its money through violence.
They will never address the violence ins Movies, TV, Games and music.
