Prayers Needed for Brother-in-law. (Vanity)

Posted on 12/17/2012 3:47:39 PM PST by MWestMom

If I could ask for prayers for my brother-in-law and his mother (My mother-in-law). She is 80 years old and has cared for him since he was diagnosed with schizophrenia in his early 20's. He has lung cancer and hospice was called in today to set up his bed, etc. She is devastated. They had a very special bond. We wanted him to make it to Christmas. He is looking forward to the family being there.

Thank you again for your prayers. Hospice came today and set up the bed for him. I have relayed the sentiments of all of you to my mother-in-law. She is very grateful to all who prayed for them. Blessings to you. Freepers are the best people in the world.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all the Freepers who prayed for my brother-in-law. He actually rallied and had a good Christmas eve with his family. Shortly after that on Christmas Day, he took a sudden turn for the worse. We just need prayers now for his passing to be peaceful. His brother is coming from out of town tomorrow (a week earlier than planned) to see him. Thank you again for your prayers prior to Christmas. We felt them. Love to you all. MWMom

To all who offered prayers for my brother-in-law, he passed gently in his sleep the early hours of this morning. He will be missed by his family. Thank you for your prayers and thoughts. He liked knowing that you all prayed for him.
