Did you ever read The Prophecies of St. Malachy? Malachy, an Irish saint, prophesied the reigns of Popes from his time of 1143 AD to the end of his list the next pope after Benedict XVI in an era of persecution and the destruction of the seven hilled city. He didnt predict their names or state his list as the end of time (nor do I), but he does predict judgment following interestingly accurate in its 1 to 5 word phrases codifying each succeeding Pope.
E.g., Pope John Paul I was called 869 years ago of the half moon He lived 2 weeks after his coronation. The current Pope is referred to as Glory of the Olive. The Olivetans are also known as the Benedictines his name Benedict XVI.
The next and last in line is Petrus Romanus Peter the Roman who in the final persecution will feed his flock among many tribulations; after which the seven hilled city will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people.

Coach is an idiot.
Interesting.
NOVEMBER 6th, 2012 was the end of the world as it was known!!
That pretty much covers it.

Used to be all science and practical stuff, now it has reverted to ancient aliens and Nostradamus prophecies.
Is this written by a dabbler equally in things Christian and pagan? At least the Roman Catholic Church is “supposed” to be Christian. The modern superstition of doom which sprang up over the impending and now recent end of the current Mayan calendar (while the few actually existing Mayan followers were ready to celebrate their equivalent of a New Years Day, which as in the past would presumably be followed by drafting a fresh calendar) is simply a result of lack of trust in God. What’s going to happen with the popes is anybody’s guess. You can bet Baptists aren’t going to lose any sleep over it.
Prophecies of St. Malachy ping. Thanks Oldpuppymax, and Merry Christmas, all!
