Why on earth would anyone expect “healthy 3 to 4 percent growth” this year, with so many people out of work and prices on the rise?

Why on earth would anyone expect a healthy anything, when we send hundreds of billions of dollars to China, never to be seen again?

Either work out the trade balance now, or stop all trade with China and bring back US jobs.

What we are doing now is broken.

Because the Sun President was reelected, raising the country above the morass of fear that a businessman would be elected president. The press had convinced themselves that those who spend the money they earn would be as enthusiastic as those who spend the money others earn.
